Celebrate National Day At Kampong Bugis With Free Tiger Beer & Bumboat Rides To See Riverside Fireworks

Celebrate National Day with Tiger Beer

It’s Tiger time this National Day 2026 with Singapore’s very own born-in-Singapore beer brand, Tiger Beer. If you haven’t got anything planned for 9th August, but want in on the fireworks and 61st birthday celebrations, you’re at the right place – we’ve got several options for you to check out, and a giveaway that you can take part in.

Tiger takes over local favourite spots

This National Day, Tiger is taking over curated spots all over our island for us all to celebrate the nation’s birthday together.

Top of this list is 66 Kampong Bugis, right by the Singapore River in Kallang. We’d be remiss not to mention that you can win tickets to hop on the Singapore Flyer or an exclusive bumboat ride during the NDP, while Sengkang Grand Mall will broadcast a livestream of the NDP celebrations and fireworks from 6pm to 9pm.

There are free fireworks-watching spots, and then there are free events like this Tiger experience, with front-row seats to the pyrotechnics of NDP2026. With this year’s celebrations back at the National Stadium directly opposite Kampong Bugis, you can be sure that the views won’t get any better than this.

This event starts at 5pm, and Tiger happy hour runs from 5pm to 9pm, where everyone above the age of 18 gets to redeem 1 free Tiger Beer each, on a first-come-first-served basis.

You’ll want to come early, because the first 1,000 guests who show their Drinkies membership via the Drinkies app (iOS | Android) can also pick up a Tiger National Day Fun Pack. With this fun pack, you’ll be all set for the evening with a custom picnic mat, hand fan, cooling wipes, mosquito patches, and temporary tattoos. All you’ll have to do, really, is bring some nibbles to pair with Singapore’s beloved Tiger Beer.

To get you into the mood, they’ve even got Singapore vinyl DJ duo HeavyItch spinning on the decks all night long, with a track of familiar local soundtracks and ambient Tiger lighting while you await the fireworks.

For an even more exclusive National Day experience, you might otherwise just find yourself on a Tiger bumboat trip this National Day. There’s only 1 boat available, seating 35 guests, and you might just get to score yourself a spot – keep an eye on Tiger Beer Singapore’s Instagram page for all the deets.

On this one-of-a-kind ride, you’ll get real up close with the fireworks display when they are set off at 8.10pm that evening, since your bumboat will take you on a cruise down the Singapore River, to Marina Bay.

What’s more, you’ll have your own personal DJ, plus ice-cold Tiger Beers, on the boat too!

Win a spot on a private Tiger capsule at the Singapore Flyer
