A music fest is always a good time guaranteed, but sometimes attending large-scale festivals might not be the most wallet-friendly option. Luckily for us, Stärker Music Carnival 2017 is right around the corner and promises us a stellar line-up of musicians and mouth-watering grub.
Here’s why you should mark your calendars for 4th November 2017:

This one day carnival will be featuring a number of notable acts, including The Facade, synth-pop quartet Disco Hue, Jasmine Sokko, Lingkai and Alfred Sim – all of which are rising stars in the local music scene.

Mandopop fans will have something to shout about too. Taiwanese pop diva A-Lin will be headlining the show for a good 50 minutes straight – almost like a mini concert!
In an effort to promote the local music scene, 4 Stärker Music Jams finalists will be competing on stage that night, with the winner will walking away with a sponsored recording by Stärker Music and a potential signed contract with Cross Ratio Entertainment. Sounds like the next Singapore Idol or The Voice in grooming!
Stärker’s German roots have really served them well as they offer a mean selection of beers that will definitely suit the palate of every drinker. If you are one who prefers a lighter drink, go for the bar’s fruity Lychee Beer. If you are more of a classic beer drinker, go for their signature Lager, which is smooth right till the last sip.
Plus, Stärker is also the only brewery in Singapore that serves beer straight up from a beer barrel. This old-school method ensures that the beer’s true taste is retained properly.
The highlight of their dishes, which’ll be served during the carnival, is definitely their chicken tenders, which are marinated with lager beer and accompanied with their signature fiery hot sauce – which’ll have your lips feeling tingly for sure.
Coming a close second are their cheesy-mayo criss cross fries. Oozing with cheesy goodness with every bite, there’s no way you’ll be able to stop at just one plate.
Nothing goes better with a glass of German beer than sausages, and Stärker’s comes in bite-sized pieces for a hassle-free snack. Those looking for something with a little crunch can try their fish fingers, which go perfectly with their homemade tartar and marinara mix.
If you’d like to visit Stärker on a regular day, we hear that Saturdays the best day to head down – they’ve got the best deals then! Patrons can enjoy free-flow beer* and live music from 8pm onwards, exclusively at their Tanjong Pagar outlet.
