Water parks are one way of escaping the heat. However, that doesn’t mean you’re safe from the sun, and you might still get occasional tans and burns busking in the outdoor space. Save yourself the sunscreen and long sleeves and take a plunge at Night Splash, SplashMania’s first-ever night-time water park this November.
The current exchange rate is RM1 = ~S$0.30 as of 5th November 2024.
Selangor is seeing its first night-time water park at SplashMania. With the opening of Night Splash, park-goers can now beat the heat and enjoy the thrilling rides after dark. Apart from the usual slides, you’ll find special performances like fire shows and even guest appearances from DJs that’ll have you partying the night away.
The fiesta is open to the public every Friday and Saturday in November from 7pm to 11pm. Tickets are priced at RM65/pax, and the price is the same for adults, children, and senior citizens. You’ll also be entitled to RM10 worth of food vouchers with every ticket purchase.
SplashMania Water Park is located in Gamuda Cove, Selangor. For those planning to drive over from Singapore, it’s about a 4-hour drive from the Woodlands Checkpoint.
Alternatively, you can hop on a 1-hour direct flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur with airlines like Scoot, Jetstar and AirAsia. From there, it’s a 17-minute drive from KL International Airport.
Another option is to take a bus from Singapore to KL. KKKL Travel & Tours is one such bus service, and it leaves from various locations straight to KL Sentral. One-way tickets start from $38/pax, and the bus ride usually takes 5-6 hours. The theme park is then a 40-minute drive away.
It won’t be a water park without all the gravity-defying slides. SplashMania is home to 24 water slides and 15 attractions, and you’ll get to ride most of them when you visit the park during Night Splash.
Some fan favourites are the Wild Rush with thrilling twists and 360 loops, the Sumaumeira Drop, which has a 75° drop before you’re curving along the slides, and the Maniac Racers, where you get to mat race with your friends down a multi-flume slide.
The highlight has to be the Shaka Waka, which takes you down a 78-metre long water slide with loopy LED light effects and music.
For those who prefer a chill night, head over to the Raging River, a 400-metre-long river ride where you can float at your own pace and soak in the vibes. This ride is also kid-friendly, and the night-time version features neon glow-in-the-dark paintings along the river ride.
The only rides that are closed during Night Splash are Zoomi’s Runway and Sky Leap.
If you worry that the big rides are too much for the young ones, fret not. There are tons of family-friendly attractions at Night Splash! for your kids to run wild at. Get dunked at the Treasure Tower, a slide combo with multiple flumes and splash buckets.
There are also mini versions of the rides, so the little daredevils won’t miss out on all the fun the adults are having. The Tiny Twister is a scaled-down version of the Twista, and the Mini Mania combines thrilling turns and 360-degree loops.

Look out for the performers decked out in LED costumes during IlluMania! Combining lights, music and mesmerising moves, they’ll be moving and dancing around the park from 9pm-9.20pm.

Why party on a dance floor when you can do so in a wave pool? With the special DJ performances like Night Maniacs and DJ of the Night!, groove to upbeat music held at the Omba’ King Cove. Park-goers can head for a dip in the pool anytime from 7.45pm-10.30pm.
Witness the breathtaking fire shows at the entrance of SplashMania. There are 2 shows you can catch: Shunya Kumaras from 7pm-7.20pm and Agni & Akasa, from 10.45pm-11pm.
If you’re looking for a quick break between the adrenaline-pumping rides, head to any restaurants and eateries in the water park. There’s the Jungle Jamboree, where you’ll find pizzas and fried chicken, Bikini Beans for pastries and ice cream, and even a Mamak selling hearty Malaysian food.
Since backpacks and personal items are not allowed on the waterslide, we recommend renting a locker to store your belongings. The lockers come in various sizes depending on how much baggage you have, ranging from small (RM15) to medium (RM34) to large (RM40). Changing rooms are also available to freshen up.
You’ll only need to rent a tube if you plan to go on the Raging River. Three types are available for rental: Single Tube (RM15), Sunset Looft (RM25), and Sunset Duoset (RM35).
Not every day does a night water park come splashing into town, so you won’t want to miss out on this limited-time adventure. Add this fiesta to your list of night-time activities to do, and get slidin’ away.
