Spin classes have become popular among those hopping onto the healthy lifestyle bandwagon. It’s a rigorous and adrenaline pumping workout, and you don’t actually need to know how to ride a bike for it – because everything will be done indoors on a stationary bike.
Here’s a list of spin classes you can find in Singapore – one even includes virtual reality:

Located at Manulife Centre, Ally Singapore is known for its intense spin classes and superb amenities. We’re talking body washes, shampoos, conditioners, and moisturisers from Aesop. The bathrooms are also equipped with Dyson hair dryers and steam irons. So if you’re planning to go for a lunchtime sesh before heading back to work, this is the studio for you.
You can also grab a quick bite at the in-house cafe – there are baked goods, coffee, and smoothies available. Those who pre-order your smoothies are entitled to 10% off too. Classes are available on ClassPass, but do note that the studio is pretty strict on punctuality so do your best to arrive early.
Crucycle is a 50-minute full body workout that’ll leave you feeling pumped about getting that cardio in for the week.

A single class is $45 which includes core and arm workouts using light weights that are incorporated into your ride. They’ve got lockers and shower facilities too, on top of complimentary shoe rentals and clean towels. First timers get to enjoy 2 classes for $50.
Their class packs expire, so make sure to use up all credits before the date. CruCycle also offers Yoga, Boxing, and HIIT classes so you can switch things up.
Offering 2 types of high-intensity classes, Ground Zero gets your body pumped and aching with Ride and Resistance – spinning and HIIT respectively. Cycle your worries and calories away during their 45-minute sessions ($46), fully equipped with sound and light systems, and a specially curated playlist by the instructors.

All you need to bring is a water bottle and a pair of socks. Cleated shoes are provided, and so are showering facilities with hair and skincare products for you to freshen up with after that intense workout.
Absolute Cycle offers a wide range of cycling classes.
There’s the Essential 60 which is slower paced and suitable for first timers. For more experienced riders, opt for Absolute 45 or Theme 45 that’ll give you 45 minutes of full body workout on the bike.
Once you’ve taken at least 10 of those classes, feel free to challenge yourself in a 60-minute session. On days that you’d like to focus on building endurance and core strength, sign up for an Absolute Power class. Absolute Cycle also has shower facilities, so you won’t be a sticky and sweaty mess when you leave.

For something a little cooler, there’s now cycling in a swimming pool. The Ripple Club makes use of water resistance with cycling on stationary bicycles underwater. This makes recovering from injuries easier, since there’s zero impact on your bones and joints.
Drop-in rates are $50, but first timers’ Intro Week ($60) lets you book up to 3 classes in 14 days. After that, if you’re hooked on it, there are class packs, unlimited weekly passes, and 1-on-1 sessions available. Equipped with shower facilities, The Ripple Club won’t have you leaving smelling of chlorine too.
Plus, the underwater workout induces a massage from the water which prevents lactic acid build up in your muscles.

Athlete Lab is a little different as they use real bikes that have been modified, or what they call Adjustabikes. These bike workouts train specific muscle groups required on a road bike so that you can reach your optimal intensity.

Aimed at working your hip flexors and quadriceps, their classes ($80 per single session) combine road biking with stationary spinning. There are 7 types of spin sessions ranging from flat and steady to intervals and advanced. If you’re game, go for the 2 hour-long class that resembles a ride up and down the mountains.

Located on the trendy stretch of Robertson Quay, the studio welcomes first timers, seasoned pros, and even their pups. The concept here dials in on cardio, conditioning, and endurance through music-thumping spin and cycling technique classes.
Over the course of 50 minutes, you’ll be working your calves, strengthening core, and toning arms all while burning up to 600 kcal.
