While Gen Alphas nowadays may ask who or what Snoopy is, we OGs remember reading PEANUTS comic strips and watching the cartoons just like they were yesterday, as it was part and parcel of our fondest years.
Snoopy first appeared along with his owner Charlie Brown in newspaper comic strips in 1950 and has since become indisputably the most famous beagle. If you’re a fan, dive into Snoopy’s world by visiting Snoopy Museum Tokyo the next time you’re in Japan.
The current exchange rate is S$1 = ~JP¥113.81 as of 7th October 2024.
The doors of Snoopy Museum Tokyo have been opened once again since February 2024 after months of revamping works. The museum is an all-in-one spot for all Snoopy fans. Other than the cute Snoopy-fied glow-up for the exterior of the building, the refreshed museum has new exhibits, 160 new merch up for grabs, a PEANUTS Cafe, and stuffed toy-making workshops.
During this holiday season, the museum features a seasonal exhibition from now till 2nd March 2025. It showcases exclusive artworks and illustrations of PEANUTS comics from the past to celebrate all your favourite holidays like Halloween, Christmas, New Year, Valentine’s, and Easter.

Once you’ve set foot in Tokyo, Snoopy Museum is about a 50-minute drive away from Haneda Airport for those renting a car. If not, the next fastest way is to take the Tokyo Monorail from Haneda Airport to Hamamatsucho Station, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line, and hop on the train towards Shibuya Station.
From Shibuya Station, take the Keio Inokashira Line to Kichijoji Station, followed by a short walk to Snoopy Museum Tokyo. Your approximately 1 to 1.5-hour journey would be all worth it when you’re greeted by none other than Snoopy at the entrance.
When you are here, it is essential to visit the Charles Schulz Gallery where you can immerse yourself in the creative history of Snoopy’s creator, Charles Shulz through photos and even rare footage of him drawing the characters from PEANUTS we all have grown to love.

Whilst the entire museum is picture perfect, head to the Snoopy Room where you can pose beside the gigantic Snoopys and get solo pictures with him to show off on your Instagram feed.
