SITEX 2019 Is Back With IT Deals, Largest Ever Gaming Zone With Free Play & New Workout Booths

2020’s fast approaching, and techies have a ton to look forward to with futuristic innovations cropping up left, right, and centre. Come 28th November – 1st December 2019, you can get in on some of the latest trends at SITEX, Singapore’s largest consumer lifestyle IT exhibition. 

There’ll be 3 interactive zones at Singapore EXPO Halls 5 and 6 for you to test out new gadgets for yourself and get them at affordable prices. Whether you’re a fitness fanatic, an avid traveller, a gamer or futuristic homeowner, here’s what you can expect at the fair:

Gaming Zone – for gamers of every type and age

Gamers will find themselves right at home at SITEX’s massive Gaming Zone. Other than gaming rigs and gadgets, expect everything from board games and e-sport tournaments to old-school comebacks and mobile games. 

Indulge in classics at RetroDNA’s Free Play Zone, which will feature nostalgic arcade machines with Super Street Fighter II, Metal Slug X, and Mario Kart. You can also have a major #throwback sesh with consoles from your childhood like the SEGA Saturn, Nintendo Entertainment System and PlayStation.

If you’re the competitive type, try to score some freebies at the MSI Gaming Triathlon Challenge 2019 where you can challenge your friends to games like Tetris, Puzzle Bobble, and the latest FIFA 20. Modern gamers can see how they fare at Vivo’s mobile gaming zone and score exclusive PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) Mobile premiums.

Attendees will also be among the first to try out Marvel’s Iron Man VR game on Sony PlayStation4 in Singapore. All these are family-friendly, so don’t shy away from bringing the whole fam.

Health and Wellness Zone – for fitness enthusiasts

If one of your upcoming resolutions for the new year is to become fitter and healthier, suss out the latest innovations at the Health and Wellness Zone to enhance your workout regime.

Check out FightZone gym’s booth. They’ll be demonstrating how you can pair technology like heart rate monitors with Muay Thai, HIIT and weight training. 

If you find yourself often taking longer than average to recover after workouts, head to Dr. Stretch’s booth. You can find out more about specialised stretching techniques for better core strength by professional stretch therapists.

Add some fun into your fitness regime with gaming by trying out Sony Playstation VR games that get you moving like Beat Saber and Just Dance 2020. And if fresh air and water is what you need to get in a workout at home, head over to Cuckoo’s booth for water and air purifiers

Get IT deals and browse tech for everyday use

SITEX will be pretty massive, so expect to stumble upon lots of deals as you walk through Expo’s halls. 

Those looking to modernise their homes can eyeball plans from broadband provider ViewQuest, and check out their NETGEAR Orbi Smart Speaker bundles that come with expanded wireless internet coverage. The speakers are fitted with Amazon’s Alexa software, so you can command it to play music or get news updates via voice command.
