It’s September again, and that means Singapore Grand Prix is back with a series of live entertainment and races to keep us on our toes from 20th – 22nd September 2024.
The best seats in the house are highly sought after and every wave of tickets released is quickly sold out. If you were unable to get a ticket to the race, here’s a list of F1-Themed events and parties to rock your F1 weekend.
Table of Contents
In case you’ve been out of touch with the world, Formula 1 is the highest level of motorsport racing that is a hit amongst all ages. Held at unique tracks all over the world, the Singapore 2024 edition will come right after the one in Azerbaijan. Look out for last year’s Singapore Grand Prix winner, Carlos Sainz Vázquez de Castro as he tries to defend his title.
The Singapore Grand Prix is known for being the first-ever Formula 1 night race, held on the challenging Marina Bay Street Circuit. It has been held annually since its opening race in 2008 with the exception of 2021 & 2022 due to Covid-19 restrictions. This year’s race will be held from 20th – 22nd September 2024 and will not only feature F1 races but also a line up of spectacular performances by popular artists and bands like OneRepublic and Dean Lewis.
True blue F1 fans, you won’t want to miss this event. From 16th-22nd September, make your way down to Velocity@Novena Square, where you’ll find an impressive display of Alpine A110 sports cars at the L1 Main Atrium.
Apart from getting to see these sleek models up close and take pics with them, you’ll also get a chance to get crafty with one of the cars. While a local artist makes an Alpine car their canvas, the public can lend a helping hand and contribute to the artwork by colouring directly on the car.
What’s more, the top shoppers at the mall will stand to win an exclusive meet and greet with the BWT Alpine F1 Team on 18th September. Simply sign up for a free U-POPP membership and rack up your spending from now till 15th September. Winners will be notified and invited for an exclusive interaction with BWT Alpine F1 drivers.
The rewards don’t end there; if your receipts amount to $120, you can redeem $10 UOL e-vouchers, and an additional $50 will earn you an Alpine vacuum cup. Finally, those lucky enough to snag F1 tickets, flash them at outlets such as Hometown Ma La Tang and Cedele for 10% off. Check their website for the full list of participating outlets.
