Most of us know Singapore Expo as the place to be for large-scale events, from international conferences to exhibitions and sales.

It’s actually the largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) venue in the country and has even hosted some high-profile events like the League of Legends World Championships, and the World Health Creation Conference.

There are 10 halls utilised for all this, measuring a generous 100,000 square metres in total, so you can imagine just how massive it is.

Planning your event stress-free

Companies who are interested in holding their events at the Singapore Expo have a ton of facilities and services at their disposal. You’ll be able to engage their in-house planners, food team, audio and visual team, and a whole host of other partners so you can avoid having to source for them on your own.

Plus, the Expo also has a handful of nursing rooms and prayer rooms on top of numerous bathrooms to accommodate the needs of your guests. The space even lives up to its multi-purpose nature and has been used to isolate thousands of COVID-19 patients.

Not everyone has the luxury of unlimited data so the free high-speed WiFi available in all Singapore Expo halls is a blessing for many. It can accommodate more than 15,000 devices so there’s more than enough internet bandwidth to go around. And fun fact: it’s the first event space in Asia with complimentary Wifi.

Dining options

A space as big as the Expo would be incomplete without some good places to eat. There are a total of 12 eateries scattered around the exhibition halls.

Grab a quick snack from 7-Eleven or have your caffeine fix at Coffee Bean. If you’re looking for meals, indulge in some Asian cuisine from Comida Fiesta Restaurant or Indian Curry House or opt for fast food like Subway.

If you have other cravings, you can head over to Changi City Point that’s adjacent to the Singapore Expo for a myriad of other restaurants.

How to get there

Singapore Expo is situated right in the heart of the east, just 5 minutes by car from Changi Airport. But this doesn’t mean it’s completely inaccessible to everyone else across the island. Both the East-West line and the Downtown line connect straight to the Expo MRT station so even the furthest West-sider will have no problem getting there.
