We may not all be students with September holidays to look forward to, but that does not mean the rest of us can’t take a break from our hectic schedules. There’s a long list of fun things to do this September, including a fashion swap, F1 concerts, and a Batman run. Here are some activities you can look forward to:

If you’re decluttering your closet and realise that you have way too many impulse buys that are still in good condition because you’ve only worn them once, join Swapathon and trade those pieces with someone else. You’ll not only be refreshing your wardrobe, but you’re also helping to save the planet by reducing waste.
Drop off your bag of items at the start of the event for a quality control check and if it’s good to go, you’ll earn points to spend at the swap party. To earn more points, you can complete tasks at the different event booths – this includes participating in free workshops on jewellery upcycling and stitching your own cup holder for bubble tea out of old fabric.
If you don’t have enough clothes to offer or are just curious about the sustainable fashion movement, you can register for free and swap other items like plants, beauty products and books.
Date: 7th September 2019
Time: 2PM-8PM
Venue: Marina Barrage
Price: $25 for clothing swap | Free to swap other items
