Fashion trends from the early 2000s are now back in style with retro fits and y2k fashion being the in thing. If you love thrifting and hunting for hidden gems of vintage pieces, take a trip to Bugis where you’ll find goodies at the Art Lane Vintage Market by Resurrack.
This vintage market will be happening every Saturday and Sunday starting from 2nd November 2024. While being held at Art Lane this time, plans for having Singapore’s first vintage market on a rooftop carpark are also in the works, so you can look forward to that.

Many of us have likely been to Art Lane without even knowing it. To get there, simply take an MRT ride to Bugis Station and exit from Exit C. From here, cross the road and head into Bugis Street where you’ll see a sign directing you to Art Lane. You’ll know you’re there when you reach an alley with cool art covering the walls.
You can expect to see a diverse range of thrift shops from Singapore and Malaysia over the different weekends including well-known names like Woofie.Co, Fairies Aisle, Retro Revival, and WEARE. There’s even a Malaysian vendor that will be selling vintage items from the boot of 2 vintage cars.
These thrift shops will not only sell unique vintage apparel but even specially curated pieces of accessories to add an extra edge to your style.

If you’re someone who loves to accessorise with some bling, handcrafted jewellery and accessories are being sold too. From minimalist pieces to bold, statement items, vendors like Whowantsaynow and Dwadle have products to suit all aesthetics and tastes.
Some other things to look out for will be their selection of digicams, vintage electronics, and vinyl records. The cute digicams are perfect for those who enjoy photography and enjoy collectable tech with a nostalgic appeal while vinyl enthusiasts can shop from an extensive collection of records, from timeless classics to hard-to-find editions.
In collaboration with Resurrack, Standard Photo Studio will have a photo booth station there every weekend. When they say XL photo strips, they aren’t kidding. These photo strips are even bigger than some posters but make equally great decorations for your room at home.

For just $10 at their booth, you get to snap 3 photos that will be printed out on a regular-sized photo strip as well as 2 keychains with your fav pics that you get to personalise at the DIY station.
To celebrate the opening of the marketplace, Standard Photo Studio will be giving away free XL photo strips from 3pm-3.30pm on 2nd November 2024 so snag them before times up. Otherwise, the regular price to top up for the XL photo strip is $25.
Note that the collection of the XL photo strips will be from their headquarters at MacPherson.
Over the weeks, there will also be other experiences to try out like getting a jagua tattoo, tarot reading, customised typewriter poetry, and silkscreen printing.
Every weekend, there will be performances by singers from Singapore’s very own music scene from 6pm-8pm.

To kick start the first weekend, Indy and Folk singer-songwriter Ezekiel and 18-year-old Heema who has already a song up on Spotify will be gracing the stage on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Each week, there will be different performances so there’s always a reason to head back to the marketplace.
Resurrack’s vintage market will be open every weekend from 3pm-9pm at Bugis Art Lane and will be eventually happening concurrently with their rooftop marketplace. With vendors from Singapore and Malaysia, performances, and interactive booths, it’s the perfect place to visit with friends, especially if they love unique retro items.
Date: Saturdays and Sundays
