Paw-rents who are constantly on the lookout for pet-friendly events to bring your cute furballs for an excursion, listen up. Mark your calendar for Sunday, 5th November 2023 and bring your furkids for a day out at Northshore Plaza’s Nautical Paw-ty.
There’s going to be a doggy obstacle course, a best dressed pet contest, and a dog yoga session. There’ll also be a pet adoption drive and 25 pop-up booths selling pet accessories and pet food. After all, why should humans have all the fun?
Just to be clear, all 3 of these activities we’ve just mentioned are for the furkids.

The simple obstacle course will feature a bunch of hurdles to test the agility of your dog – including a ramp, seesaw, tunnel, and 8 poles. What a great way to get them to exercise and play at the same time! No registration is required, all you have to do is show up on the day with your pups.

If you’ve signed your dogs and cats up for the best-dressed contest, they stand to win loads of pet goodies worth over $800. The top 3 winners will be crowned by a panel of judges from The Collar Club and Northshore Plaza. As owners of superstars, you’ll get to bring home pet treats, grooming vouchers, and accessories. The top prize even includes a dog bed.
You can pre-register for the contest from now until 1st November 2023 while there are still slots.
Last but not least, the dog yoga class will happen from 10am-11am. This is reserved for ShopperLink members only but it’s really easy to sign up as one. Simply download the ShopperLink app (App Store | Google Play) and register as a member for free. Slots are limited though and will be open for sign-ups from 13th October 2023, so sign up early.
There will be craft workshops held by The Collar Club and Tree Art.

The event is not only pet-friendly but kid-friendly too. Head to the animal-themed craft stations to make some DIY art projects with your little ones. The first one is a paw print frame with artwork made from clay instead of paint, so things don’t get too messy. The other is a 20-minute session of clay art making where one can mould the material into cute animal shapes.
These are suitable for kids above 7 years old and require parents to supervise, so join in on the fun. There’ll also be an interactive workshop conducted by Animal & Veterinary Services on responsible pet ownership designed specially for kids to help them discover and connect with animals.

As for kids who just want to jump around and have a good time, there’s a bouncy castle for that. Just set them free and they’ll keep themselves entertained, which is great news for any parent.
Don’t forget to look out for the photo booth contest too. Simply snap a cute pic, upload it onto Facebook, and tag The Collar Club Singapore and Northshore Plaza. 5 winners will get to walk away with over $60 worth of groceries and The Collar Club vouchers.
Apart from all the fun activities, don’t pass up the chance to get your pets some new toys or treats. The event will see 25 brands set up their booths to showcase everything from ice cream for dogs to grooming products like pet shampoo and wipes.
