At this pop-up event, diners will be watching The Grand Budapest Hotel, the multi-award-winning movie directed by Wes Anderson. Cinephiles will know this classic as the story of Monsieur Gustave, the head concierge of a popular European hotel, as told by Zero, the hotel’s lobby boy.
First course: edible cigarettes.

As your eyes feast on the tale unfolding before you, you’ll also be served 7 courses (from $118/pax) inspired by actual scenes from the movie. This includes apple-roasted chicken – an homage to the painting Boy With Apple, Monsieur Gustave’s inheritance from a former hotel guest.
You’ll even get to DIY your own choux pastry tower for dessert as a way to commemorate Mendl’s, a pastry shop that features prominently within the film.

Those with dietary restrictions needn’t worry about having to miss out on the fun. There’s a vegetarian menu available, and they can prepare your dishes to be pork/lard-free, nut-free, or gluten-free. Do let the team know if you have any allergies as well, at least 3 days before your ticketed date so they can make accommodations.
To elevate your experience, there’s also an optional drink pairing (from $68) which includes 4 beverages. You can get cocktails, mocktails, and even wine to enjoy while watching the film. Movie buffs who want to discuss the film and even the dinner in more detail can even mingle at the bar that closes at 10.30pm.
Dinner and a show is a classic date ritual. But if that routine is getting a little tiring, opt to have both together with Nom Nom Cinema. You can even make it an evening to remember by dressing up as your fave characters from the film.
Whether you’re a movie buff who’s watched all the classics, or a foodie who’s always on top of new cafes and restaurants, this is one place that’ll feed your passion.
