Birthdays can be simple or they can be jazzed up like when our beloved panda baby Lele turned one. They can be crazily memorable, or they can be insanely meh. But one thing’s for sure, you’ll probably be the life of the party if you give away thousands of servings of ice cream to welcome guests.
The Museum of Ice Cream turns 1-year-old on 17th September 2022 with 1-for-1 entry and 3,000 scoops of ice cream for its birthday bash. Tickets are now available for advance purchase, so read on to find out more.
For most of us, The Museum of Ice Cream needs no introduction as the pretty-pink IG haven hailing from San Francisco, that arguably rocks pink better than Regina George. If you’ve yet to visit, it’s about time to check out its 14 aesthetic exhibits, all about the frozen snack.
Tickets are now going at a snazzy 1-for-1 discount when you visit on the museum’s first anniversary. Typically setting you back $46, each entry into the Museum of Ice Cream now costs $23 if you visit with a plus one.
Better snag your tickets soon as this is only limited to the first 1,000 redemptions. This is also the first time the museum is dishing out a buy-1-free-1 deal.

Not all of us fancy filling our phone’s photo gallery with chio photos and that’s a-OK. For the rest of the population, there are also 3,000 scoops of ice cream you can redeem for free at the alfresco cafe and bar. The establishment lies outside the museum and is accessible to everyone from the public from 10am-5pm. You don’t need a ticket to enjoy this and redemption is also limited to one scoop per guest.
For those still peckish, we hear there’ll also be food trucks with burgers and hotdogs present. Also, get your hands on crispy fries, nuggets, and fried Oreos amidst the celebrations.

If tipples are your go-to during cheat days instead, attend the EMONIGHTSG dance party that’s also happening at the museum on the same day, at 6pm onwards. Jive to alternative beats while sipping on a complimentary alcoholic drink of your choice for a $15 entrance fee.
There are a million and one different ways to celebrate birthdays. But by all accounts, we love a good party that comes with gifts for the guests. If you’d like to snag some freebies and score a date activity with your SO at half off, swing by this party at the Museum of Ice Cream. It’s going to be pretty cool.
