There’s A Huge Miffy Playground At Changi Airport, With Cute Photo Spots & Pop-Up Shops

Miffy’s Garden at Changi Airport

From Sanrio to Pop Mart, Singaporeans are simply enamoured with all that is cute. Well, if you’ve a penchant for adorable bits and bobs yourself, then take a trip to the East to swing by Changi Airport. That’s because Miffy and friends are paying a visit, and you’re more than welcome to say hi when you frolic around Miffy’s Garden.

As such, the airport is currently playing host to several Miffy-themed attractions across the various terminals. Here’s all you need to know about this bunny bonanza that’s happening right as the March holidays kick off.

What is Miffy’s Garden?

Miffy’s Garden is a Miffy-themed installation at Changi Airport, and it’s happening from now till 12th May 2025. It consists of a huge inflatable playground at Terminal 3, as well as various photo spots and pop-up shops peppered around Terminals 2,3, and 4.

Is Miffy’s Garden free to enter?

While the photo spots and pop-up shops are free for all to visit, you’ll have to buy an Activity Pass to enter Miffy’s Playground, which will cost $15 each. However, every $50 spent at retail shops and eateries or $80 spent at supermarkets in Changi Airport’s public areas will entitle you to redeem 1 Activity Pass for just $5.

Do note that you’ll have to rack up the minimum spend of $50 at participating outlets from Terminals 1 to 4, excluding Jewel Changi. You can visit Changi Airport’s website for the full list of participating outlets. Activity Passes are also capped at a maximum of 3 redemptions per receipt.

What to expect at Miffy’s Garden?

For parents with active little ones in tow, the Miffy’s Playground found in Terminal 3 will be just the spot for them to expend their boundless energy at.

My colleague had way too much fun on this pint-sized slide.

It’s a ball pit that kids can dive into, and there are a couple of giant inflatables of Miffy herself, alongside familiar characters like Melanie the bunny and Grunty the pig. There’s also a 2m-long slide to whiz down, and obstacles to weave in and out of that are bound to leave even the rowdiest children satisfied.

Admission: From $5/child
Location: Terminal 3 public area, Level 2, Departure Hall, opposite Check-In Row 11
Opening hours: Fri 5pm-10pm | Sat-Sun 12pm-10pm (Closed on Mon-Thu)

Pretty photo spots like a hot-air balloon & Miffy’s house

There are also a ton of IG-worthy photo spots set up around Changi Airport as part of Miffy’s Garden too. Should your feed need a bit of sprucing up, snap a pic of Miffy’s colourful hot-air balloon at Terminal 3’s Departure Hall. Her best friend and pet dog Snuffy also makes an appearance, with a whole dog house to boot.

In case you didn’t know, Miffy’s also celebrating her 70th birthday this year.

Don’t forget to head to Miffy’s cosy garden hangout at Terminal 3 Basement 2 too; there’s a winding yellow road to walk on, flanked by a few character cut-outs. In the back, there’s a Miffy-shaped hole to strike a pose within. Over at Terminal 2’s Departure Hall, Miffy is earnestly greeting visitors walking by her humble abode; do drop by to wave back.

Bring home a Miffy-infused souvenir at the various pop-up shops

The pop-ups have a storefront that resembles a Miffy’s house.

You’ll also want to bring home some Miffy memorabilia to commemorate your visit, and there are plenty of opportunities to do so. Scattered around Changi Airport are a total of 5 pop-up booths selling a plethora of Miffy-themed merchandise.

Some of the stuff you can pick up include T-shirts (from $35) for both kids and adults, canvas tote bags (from $29), keychains (from $12.90), tumblers ($24.90), lunch boxes (from $25), and of course Miffy plushies (from $34.90)

There are 3 retail booths in Terminal 3, located at the Departure Hall at Level 2, Basement 2 opposite Kopitiam, and another in Basement 2, beside Swensen’s. Visitors who’re not stopping by Terminal 3 can instead shop at the pop-up next to Kenangan Coffee on Level 2 at Terminal 2, or the one near Terminal 4’s Starbucks on Level 2.

What the completed stamp rally card will look like.

Also, there’s a stamp rally to take part in for even more Miffy mementos. To begin, approach the staff to buy an empty stamp rally card for $2, and you’ll have to visit a total of 5 Miffy-infused locations within Terminals 2 and 3 to complete your card.

Once you’ve put together your masterpiece, present your completed stamp rally cards to the staff manning any of the pop-up booths to redeem a Miffy handheld fan. There are 4 designs to collect, so you might want to swing around for round 2.

If you did some shopping at Changi Airport, you’ll be glad to know that you can snag exclusive Miffy gifts with every $50 spent at participating outlets in Terminals 1 through 4’s public areas. Again, you’ll have to accumulate a minimum spend of $80 instead if you decide to shop at supermarkets in Changi Airport, and receipts from shops in Jewel Changi are not accepted.

The goodies you can redeem include a Miffy keychain charm ($4.90), and there are 4 designs to collect. They’ll release a new design each month, so repeat shopping sprees at the airport are more than encouraged. Other Miffy-infused gifts you can redeem are handy mobile phone straps ($9.90), 3-in-1 travel packing cubes ($12.90), and a complimentary luggage tag.

Visit Miffy’s Garden before you jet off for the March holidays

If you’ve got an hour or 2 to spare at Changi Airport before jetting off for your March holidays, do make a stop at Miffy’s Garden, especially if the fam’s a big fan of the lovable rabbit. Just don’t blame us if you begin your vacation with a trunk-full of Miffy merch before you’ve even checked in your luggage.
