Life is constantly bustling – especially with Singaporeans working the longest hours in the world – and it’s not always easy finding space to breathe amid hectic schedules. Sometimes you just wanna stop everything and chill the heck out – even if just for 15 minutes. And there’s no place better to do so, than at McDonald’s, the number one hangout for a good food quickie.
While we’re well-acquainted with their burgers and breakfasts sets, there’s also a selection of beverages and desserts to complement your meals with – which you might’ve been missing out on all this while. Here are some gems you should totally order the next time you’re in dire need of a break.
Good news for all those who require caffeine to function – McDonald’s serves up some real satisfying icy frappes, all of which are made to delight!
Note: Not to be confused with McCafe’s handcrafted frappes, these frappes are only sold at McDonald’s main counters.
While caramel-flavoured items have a reputation for being super sweet – sometimes to the point of being overwhelming – this Caramel Frappe ($3.45) has a palatable subtle taste. Topped with a generous serving of whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce, this is a must-try for all coffee-lovers.
Those who prefer something sweeter can satiate themselves with the Mocha Frappe ($3.45). A blend of chocolate with coffee, this rich beverage will definitely be a pleaser among those seeking indulgence.
Fancy some fruity goodness? The ice-blended Ribena Chill ($1.95) and Mango Peach Chill ($2.45) are great solutions to a hot, humid day. Be prepared for a brain freeze!

When one thinks of McDonald’s desserts, what usually comes to mind is the ever-popular McFlurry. A step up from the original is this Mudpie McFlurry ($2.70) – with chocolate shards added into the flurry of goodness, it’s a richer version of the classic oreo formula.
No need for chill pills here – McDonald’s cold drinks and desserts will do the job. Whether you need a quick break from life by yourself, or are enjoying a casual catch-up with your pals, these affordable cool treats will be perfect for aiding your relaxation – especially in Singapore’s humid weather. So take your pick, and chill away!
The gifting season is here! If you’re in need of a chill sesh this festive season, McDonald’s is giving away 10 sets of drink and dessert redemption cards that will let you have ALL the treats in the above photo!
