F1 season is upon us, and if you want to be a hottie on wheels like your fave drivers, here’s your chance. The longest go-karting circuit in Asia has opened in Malaysia, boasting a giant 1.5km track with exciting twists and turns for you to show off your driving skills.
Located in Selangor, LYL International Karting Circuit is perfect for both novice and experienced karters, with beginner-friendly vehicles for both solo and pair riders.

LYL is tucked inside Monkeys Canopy Resort, a Bali-inspired resort-cum-amusement park atop Sungai Long Hill in Kajang, Selangor. It’s about a 5-hour drive from Singapore, or 30 minutes from KL city centre.

A 10-minute ride at LYL costs RM70 (~S$21.30) for a beginner single-rider 270cc kart, and RM90 (~S$27.39) for a higher-powered 390cc kart, which you’ll need a legit racing license to rent. Meanwhile, a 2-seater kart costs RM115 (~S$34.99).
You’ll also be able to purchase protective gear like a balaclava for RM8 (~S$2.43), and gloves for RM3 (~S$0.91).

Depending on the kind of experience you’re looking for, there are 6 circuit routes to choose from, ranging from a quick 0.6km route with 12 corners, to the full 1.5km route with 23 corners to meander through.
Families with youngins will also be glad to hear that little ones aged 6 and above are allowed to ride with an adult in a double kart here, though they’ll have to be 140cm in height and at least 10 years old to drive their own.
