For those who travel from Singapore to KL pretty often, we’ve got some good news. Besides the different modes of transportation available between the 2 cities, there’s now a new option in the mix. LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre (LaLaport BBCC) in Kuala Lumpur (KL) has opened a modern transportation hub that has direct bus services between KL and Singapore – and it’s pretty atas.
The current exchange rate is S$1 = RM3.17 as of 24th July 2026.

The new LaLaport BBCC Transportation Hub serves direct bus routes between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, making it another option for those travelling between both cities by coach.
It’s especially handy if you’re planning to spend time around Bukit Bintang or the wider BBCC area, since the hub is located within LaLaport BBCC itself. Instead of making sure you get lunch or all your shopping done before heading to the terminal, you can just head there and get some food or shop while waiting for your bus.

The hub is expected to serve more than 30 bus operators, including KL-Singapore routes. Other services currently covered include airport buses to KLIA Terminal 1 and KLIA Terminal 2, sightseeing buses, and city connections via the BOLEH BOLEH Ride.

The hub is also a 3-minute walk to Hang Tuah LRT and Monorail stations under the RapidKL network. So, you won’t have to depend entirely on private-hire rides as you can travel directly to and from hubs such as KL Sentral, Ampang, or Petaling Jaya. It connects right to the doorstep of the BBCC precinct via a sheltered walkway. We do recommend planning your routes and checking real-time arrivals, and avoiding the evening rush between 5pm and 7pm.
For shorter trips around the city, there’s the BOLEH BOLEH Ride, an on-demand shuttle service that connects LaLaport BBCC to nearby areas like Pudu, Bukit Bintang, and Imbi. It’s useful if you’re heading to spots like Pavilion or Berjaya Times Square, with rides bookable via the mobi app from RM4 (~S$1.26) for a one-way trip within the coverage zone.
There’s also a multi-stop option if you’re planning to hop between a few nearby landmarks in one ride.

Don’t worry, the LaLaport BBCC Transportation Hub comes with a premium air-conditioned waiting lounge, so you can chill comfortably before your ride instead of camping beside your luggage in the heat. It’s also a lifesaver if your Jisulife fan runs out of battery halfway.

Besides that, there’ll also be a giant LED display showing live bus schedules, which is useful if you’re an anxious traveller who feels the need to check the departure time of your bus every 5 minutes.

Other travel-friendly facilities include luggage lockers, currency exchange, ticket counters, self-service kiosks, and free WiFi. It’s a one-stop shop where you can store your bags, exchange cash, makan, and roam the mall hands-free before boarding.

One of the biggest perks is that the transportation hub is connected to LaLaport BBCC, so waiting for your bus doesn’t have to mean sitting around doing nothing.

You can grab a meal or shop around Mitsui Outlet Park BBCC, which has brands like adidas, Skechers, Akemi, SaSa, and Sports Planet. There’s also anime-themed retail and entertainment in the mall, if you’d rather spend your pre-bus time browsing character merch than doomscrolling at the waiting area.
Food-wise, there are tons of options, from Ikkyu Izakaya to JJ Chilli Pan Mee and Seoul Garden. There’s even a garden dining food court on level 4 for local favourites like nasi lemak and hokkien mee.
If you’re heading between Singapore and KL soon, LaLaport BBCC’s new Transportation Hub could be worth checking out. Between the air-conditioned lounge, luggage lockers, live bus schedules, mall access, public transport connections, and direct airport shuttle, you might even prefer it to catching a flight between both cities.
