If the festive songs haven’t rang a bell, let us remind you that it’s December already. It’s time to start planning what you’re going to do this holiday, especially if you’ve got young ones to entertain. Well, you may want to celebrate Christmas at KINEX where a lot is happening.
A bubble artist will be performing live, new restaurants are opening, and a charity market is popping up. Here’s what to expect at the mall this month.
The kids have probably seen clowns and magicians perform at birthday parties plenty of times but it is not often you get to see a bubble artist perform live.
The Candilicious Bubble Show from 13th-18th December 2022 will feature CJ the Bubble Girl showing off her magic. And if your kid gets inspired by her charming antics, they can try their hand at a Bubbleology Workshop to learn some bubble magic.
Shoppers who spend a minimum of $50 in 2 same-day receipts will be eligible for an e-Pass*. There are limited passes available for the workshop on a first come first served basis so head straight to the Customer Service Counter on Level 2 to redeem your e-Pass once you’ve completed your shopping.

Wait, there’s more. The Kid in a Giant Bubble is something you just can’t miss. Your kid will grow up and thank you one day for this truly unique photo op. Anyone who presents a single, same-day receipt of $20 may redeem a pass to experience being in a giant bubble on stage. Passes will be available an hour before the show starts.

Since you’ve got to buy Xmas gifts anyway, it would be nice to shop and do some good at the same time. Pop by A Charity Marketplace from 8th-11th December 2022 to support various social enterprises at the event featuring Enterprising Mums United. As a community retail space, they offer unique and distinctive handicrafts and bakes for a good cause.
The entrepreneurial mums focus on upcycling items so you know what you’re getting is sustainable. Amongst other things, you can get your hands on handcrafted tatted lace earrings, scented candles, handmade soaps, and knitted toys. Some of the participating NGOs include the Singapore Cancer Society, Bakery Hearts, and Air Amber.
