Shout-out to all the mums out there: you’re awesome. I mean, taking care of a child is one thing, but bringing them out? It’s a whole new ball game. As an ex-kid myself, I can say that it involves crying, yelling and a lot of hissy fits – and sometimes, it isn’t from the little monsters.

Being a mother is a 24/7 job with that doesn’t come with off days to enjoy – but it’s a job most wouldn’t trade for anything else. So mums, this one’s for you. We’ve gathered a list of 10 family-friendly places around that are just in time for a Mother’s Day treat with the kids.

1. Make a splash at this indoor water playground

Multiple play decks, five slides and a splash pad – this is a place for the young and mummies who are young-at-heart to spend some quality family time together.

Family packages are also available here.

Mums with a knack for art and crafts who haven’t the time to get creative, express yourselves with some DIY crafts along with the kids!

Relaxing staycations and brunch cocktails might sound enticing – but it’s the special moments like watching the little ones live out their dreams of being dino-hunters, or learning how to code for the first time that mummy dearest will keep close to her heart.

The selflessness of a mother’s love is something we’ll never truly understand – which is why we think mummy deserves to treat herself to something extra special with the kiddos this May.
