For all those who love a good drumstick, Colonel Sander’s empire now has a pop-up in VivoCity, in celebration of KFC’s 45 year anniversary. From 6th-10th July 2022 only, visit the #MEANDMYKFC installation for claw machines, a collectables display, and fried chicken vouchers for those feeling peckish.

While some quirky pop-ups require a minimum spend and same day receipts to enter, the good news is that this snazzy KFC installation at VivoCity is open to all, free of charge. For 5 days only, visit the pop up decked out in all things red.

Photo ops include plush cherry-red sofas and neon lights. But that’s not all – there’s no need to worry if you’re swinging by at the last minute as the cute props at the KFC x AMOS ANANDA “wardrobe” section will get your ‘fit for IG sorted. Don bucket hats and KFC-themed button downs – these are part of a limited-edition merch drop from 2021.

All the better for those head over heels with collectables – head further into the pop-up container to find a claw machine with limited edition KFC plushies shaped like a chicken bucket.

Don’t forget to try your hand at the gachapon machine, with enamel pins, stickers, and special 45th anniversary KFC food vouchers for items currently not on the KFC menu – like the Zinger Double Down. This is free for every visitor to try once!

If you’ve been a fan since the 70s, find a series of figurines from the old days on display. Personally, we stan Mr Sanders doing taichi.

Other things you can find in the deceptively small-looking container include a foosball table and a KFC kitchen fryer where visitors are challenged to lift a 12kg cage – the way the KFC staff do. For those not that ready an impromptu workout, instead try to guess the combination of spices that goes into KFC’s top-secret recipe.
Also find a wall with postcards you can bring home.

We love that pop-up installations are well, popping up all over Singapore. Even better is that most of them are free. Fried chicken addicts, don’t miss out on this new and free activity along the purple line.
As they always say, the early bird catches the worm. The first 4,500 visitors also will receive a free 2-piece chicken voucher. Even if you miss that, all visitors will get a KFC limited-edition token to take home.
