KFC Has A Pokémon-Themed Collab This August, With A Merch Drop, Pokémon Go Fun & TCG Tutorials

KFC x Pokémon The Ultimate Launch

With the reopening of the Pokémon Center Singapore further fueling the Pokémon craze on the Little Red Dot earlier this month, we just can’t seem to get enough of Pikachu and friends. Come August, KFC’s looking to keep the hype train chugging along, with their The Ultimate Launch campaign.

The fried chicken joint has teamed up with Pokémon to bring fans a whole new line of themed merch, along with surprises for both avid Pokémon GO and  Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) players alike. Here’s what you can expect from this highly anticipated collaboration.

The KFC x Pokémon The Ultimate Launch campaign will be held from 19th August to 29th September 2026. The campaign’s festivities coincide with KFC’s seasonal Japanese menu launch, which spotlights a new Japanese Nanban Zinger burger ($7.50) and Chicken Bites ($6.90).

But aside from the updated menu, The Ultimate Launch campaign will also feature a new Pokémon-themed merch collection to shop. It’ll sport practical inclusions such as pouches and neck pillows, as well as a special jacket fronted by the fan-favourite Charmander evolution line.

Meanwhile, Pokémon GO players will have a new excuse to make stops at KFC outlets islandwide with an upcoming game event. The campaign will also provide opportunities for new trainers to begin their TCG journey, with tutorial sessions and freebies to give them a head start.

Collect Pokémon-themed merch

The highlight of KFC’s The Ultimate Launch campaign will have to be the all-new, Pokémon-themed merch collection. These will be available at all KFC outlets islandwide, with the exception of the Singapore Zoo and Sentosa outlets.

For starters, you’ll be able to get your hands on a Pokémon Reversible Everyday Blind Pouch for $14.95 with every purchase of KFC’s Japanese Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites Box.

On the outside, these pouches will take on a classic Poké Ball design, so flip them inside out to reveal what Pokémon lies within. There’ll be 4 unique ones to collect: Pikachu, Eevee, Mew, and Snorlax.

Speaking of Poké Balls, the Poké Ball Bucket will come in handy when you’ve got your hands full. The bucket measures approximately 23cm in diameter, so there’s plenty of space to store essentials within it. You can bring home a Poké Ball Bucket for $12.95 with every purchase of a 5-piece Chicken Bucket.

When the cravings hit mid-gaming sesh, whip out KFC’s Gaming Chopsticks. They ensure that your fingers stay clean as you snack away, so you won’t end up with oily joysticks. They even come in 2 quirky designs themed after Gengar and Pikachu.

These will be available from 9th September 2026 onwards. You can get a pair for $15.95 on delivery platforms like KFC Delivery app, GrabFood, and Foodpanda with any Japanese Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites order.

Diehard fans of the Charmander evolution line won’t want to miss out on the limited Pokémon Evolution Jacket. The front’s nothing to write home about, but the artwork of Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard is one way to profess your love for the fiery family of lizards.

You can cop the jacket for $99 with every dine-in or takeaway purchase of a Japanese Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites Box, at the Kallang, Jurong Point, Bedok Town Square, Causeway Point, and SCAPE outlets only.
