This time, the temptation comes in the form of the new KAWS Universe UT collection, which has launched online and in Uniqlo stores islandwide. If you’re the type of person who doesn’t miss astronomical events like meteor showers, you’ll love this collection as it’s cosmically inspired. Plus, there are pieces for adults, kids, and accessories too.
KAWS Universe is the wider world of characters and visual language created by contemporary artist KAWS, who is known for his cartoon-like figures, bold graphics, and signature X-ed-out eyes. His work sits somewhere between fine art, street culture, cartoons, and collectibles, which is why it feels instantly recognisable even if you’re not deep in the art scene.

KAWS is also no stranger to major collaborations, having worked with Uniqlo since 2016. His pieces have appeared across graphic tees, figurines, art toys, and large-scale installations, making his work especially popular among collectors, streetwear fans, and anyone who appreciates a wearable bit of pop-art energy. The drop also comes as KAWS takes on the role of Uniqlo’s first Artist in Residence.
