Mid-Autumn Festival is a time to enjoy mooncakes and go for night strolls under the full moon – but we can do all that and more at Jurong Point with their Sanrio-themed festivities.
From 16th August – 15th September 2019, you’ll be meeting Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty, Cinamoroll, Pompompurin, Gudetama and Kerokerokeroppi. From life-sized inflatables to an IG-worthy lantern tunnel, here are several festive highlights to enjoy at Jurong Point.
Don’t miss out on exploring the 6-metre long Sanrio Characters Lantern Tunnel – it’s lined with lanterns in the form of Keroppi, Gudetama, Pompompurin and other Sanrio friends. This illuminated tunnel will excite all kids and tug at the nostalgic heartstrings of adults.
After strolling through the Lantern Tunnel, spot Pompompurin and Cinnamoroll scattered around Jurong Point in the form of life-sized inflatables. It’s not every day you get to see a life-sized Pompompurin – take the chance to snap a picture to post on IG!

Head for a lantern walkabout when the moon is at its fullest and brightest, from 6.30PM onwards. Follow a trail around the mall as you admire the full moon. You will also get to collect a goodie bag with vouchers and mooncakes after your stroll – all of which are worth more than $50. This activity is only limited to the first 150 individuals* so you better be on the ball and chiong!
*Participants to spend a minimum of $50 ($100 at NTUC FairPrice or FairPrice Xtra) in a single receipt. Register at the Customer Service Counter located at Level 1 in JP 1 and Level 3 at JP2.

Take your pick from the seemingly endless rows of mooncakes. There are both traditional baked mooncakes and snow skin mooncakes for you to taste. Fans of the King of Fruits can take it up a notch since there’ll also be durian mooncakes available at this Mooncake Fair Extravaganza, while Boba lovers can look forward to trying Pearl Yuan Yang mooncakes.

At the main atrium, take a break from the mooncake tasting and shopping to enjoy the performances lined up. Watch a modern fusion drum performance, magic show, and the mysterious face-changing act from Sichuan.
