The annual festive squeeze is back, but here’s one place you could head to in the ‘hood if you’re an Eastie – i12 Katong, which you may know has undergone a revamp in recent years. And this year, they’ve gone beyond having a Christmas themed around popular shows, but instead have gotten a whole crew of mascots specially designed for them. Read on to find out what’s up at this Eastside mall.
Specially for this season, i12 Katong has collaborated with Singapore-based artist and illustrator Candice Phang, AKA @puffingmuffin, to create a host of ultra-cute characters for a most whimsical Christmas at this Katong mall.
Pose with and snap a pic at these photo points, which you’ll find on every level of the mall.
Then, upload these photos on social media and tag @i12katong – 20 lucky winners will win $50 worth of vouchers for you to use at the mall.
P.S.: The photo points are also checkpoints for the Whimsical Christmas Trail, which is a stamping activity that you will get gift vouchers for when you’ve collected all the stamps.
Head to the Level 3 Concierge with a receipt showing a minimum spend of $10 to get a copy of the activity booklet, and help Jolly Jingle find all of his friends as you hunt down the photo points scattered throughout i12 Katong.
Simply collect all 6 stamps, and bring the completed booklet back to the Level 3 Concierge to redeem your prize.
Another item you can pick up from the Level 3 Concierge is colouring sheets for your little ones – submit the completed works before 8pm on 31st December 2025, and may the best ones win.

If you’ve spent a minimum of $120 at the Eastside mall, you’ll receive an exclusive Whimsical Christmas Sticker Set featuring Jolly Jingle and his merry crew. This, on top of a GV Movie Voucher, and entry into the festive instant sure-win draw as well as lucky draw, where you could win a hotel stay and prizes worth $3,000
For the bigger spenders who’ve hit $200 worth of spending, you’ll also receive a $20 gift voucher on top of the sticker set, instant sure-win and lucky draws. If you do all your shopping between Monday to Thursday, you’ll be entered twice into the instant sure-win and lucky draws – though this is capped at 2 draws.

Besides all these activations, there’s loads to do at i12 Katong, including baking workshops at ToTT. Think baking your own Christmas Reindeer Rolls, a Yule Log, or even making your very own gingerbread house and doughnuts.

Plus, there’s a whole bevy of Christmas performances taking place at i12 Katong on the weekends of 13th-14th December, and 20th-21st December 2025 that’ll get you into the festive mood. Look forward to handbell performances, guitar and vocal acts, carolling, and even a roving Santa Claus.
