From the flags adorning every door in your HDB flat to your friends warbling along to the tunes of “Home” playing in the mall, the leadup to National Day is one that leaves us yearning for the days of our childhood.
More than just music, HarbourFront Centre will be pitching in to hit you with some serious Singapore feels. This coming 3rd-5th August, the mall is set to bring you a series of free activities that will get you and your fam jump in on the patriotic cheer together.
From FOC free-flow muah chee and kacang puteh to lightsaber training and yoga workouts, here’s a breakdown on what’s gonna happen:
Most people skive off joining workout classes for fear of forking out an unnecessary amount of money, but that won’t be the case this time because all the mass workouts here are F-R-E-E.

You can choose between finding your zen at either the Parent and Child Yoga session or Sunset Yoga. For something a little more adrenaline-spiking, you can unleash your inner fighter with the BODYCOMBAT™ session or groove along to your favourite beats at the Zumba and Dance workout sessions.
The classes are held courtesy of True Fitness Singapore.

It’s a sad fact that all the delicacies we used to indulge ourselves on when we were children are now hard to come by. If you’re constantly nursing a craving for muah chee that just won’t go away, you can now feast yourself on an unlimited supply of local delights that include kacang puteh and dragon’s beard candy at the memory link*!
HarbourFront Centre will also be hosting various stations where you can revisit the games you used to play with your pals at your void deck. Games include those such as Goli (marbles), Five Stones, and Hopscotch, and finishing 5 of these stations will allow you to redeem a free gift from the ever-iconic token of our childhood – the Mama shop*.
*While stocks last.
If you’re itching to revel in the pre-National Day cheer, bring your family over to HarbourFront Centre where you can reminisce the fond ol’ times to your heart’s delight.
From now to 28th July 2019, sign up for the free workout session of your choice and make sure to join in the nostalgia between 3rd and 5th August! Additionally, those decked in their reds will also get to enjoy the National Day deals at participating stores between 3rd and 10th August!
