The History of Singapore: Lessons by the Dim Sum Dollies

The Dim Sum Dollies

Hot on the heels of the success that was the Dim Sum Dollies in The History of Singapore, the beloved cabaret trio is back with another side-splitting performance. In this instalment, they will be singing about Singapore’s history after the merger in 1965.

Using colourful costumes, English and a sprinkle of local dialects, the Dim Sum Dollies will remind you of Singapore’s past, discussing what makes Singapore the place we all know and love today. Prepare to see E.R.P., C.O.E., “Two Is Enough”, and many other quintessentially Singaporean ideas in a whole new light.

Whether you are a Singaporean or foreigner, a family or looking for a fun night out with friends, a student or a Social Studies teacher, you will be sure to enjoy the colourful and vibrant act that is the Dim Sum Dollies.

The Dim Sum Dollies’ method of tongue-in-cheek humour to discuss current events in Singapore has proved popular, selling out every single show they have put on since the first one in 2002.
