What to expect during Glow Kayaking

There are 2 timing options available in a day: first at 6pm if you’d like to catch the sunset and another at 8pm for those who wish to avoid the sun.

Both tours begin at the serene Api Api River, part of the lush Pasir Ris Mangrove Nature Reserve. This lesser-known waterway transforms after dark, offering calm waters and a symphony of nocturnal wildlife. Glide through the 3km route, where you’ll spot bats fluttering above, fishes darting below, and maybe even an owl perched in the trees.

Your kayak will be decked out in customisable LED lights, letting you pick a colour to match your mood. These world-class Hobie kayaks are leg-powered, making them beginner-friendly and easy to control. With professional nature guides and live commentary, you’ll learn fascinating facts about the flora and fauna surrounding one of Singapore’s last mainland mangrove rivers.
