The FIRST Halal Supermarket opens in Bedok!

Maciks living in the east, you no longer have to scour through rows of supermarket shelves in search of suitable ingredients for that sumptuous meal! With a 100% halal full-scale supermarket opening in the heart of Bedok estate, our Muslim friends are in for a real treat.

While not gargantuan like supermarket mainstays such as Sheng Siong and Giant, the 10,000 square foot Global Halal Hub stands its ground, offering over 8,000 products from all over the world.

Like any other supermarket, Global Halal Hub offers everyday essentials and groceries. However, you can also expect to stumble upon goods that you wouldn’t think would be Halal, such as peanut mochi!

Apart from regular offerings, the Halal supermarket also offers more unique options such as this fried ice-cream. These balls of joy come range from regular flavours like strawberry and vanilla, to le exotic durian.

For the hungry individual, they even have in-house Polar Puffs and Hei Sushi outlets. At Polar Puffs, healthier alternatives are available as well, such as a whole-grain sugar roll. Yummy and good for the tummy!

A musollah (prayer room) is also available at the supermarket, with ablution facilities available in the washroom. What more, slippers and telekung (garments) are provided in-house too!
