Here’s a way to end August off with a bang for real – on 29th and 30th August 2025, For Real Fest 2025 will be throwing a massive party at Funan mall, with activities running from noontime all the way till 1am.

For Real Fest is an event set up by the team of youths behind For Real Co., an initiative created to foster deeper connections amongst the younger generation. As such, they’ve hosted events since early 2024, all with various bonding activities and opportunities for Gen Z-ers to mingle and make new friends.
In collaboration with Singapore Night Festival 2025, For Real Fest 2025 is set to be their biggest festival yet; with everything from games, to photo ops, and lit afterparties.

Whether you’re a night owl or an early bird, you’ll probably be able to find something that’s up your alley in For Real Fest 2025’s line-up of activities.
For starters, there’ll be an Ideas Playground with various experience zones. Here, you’ll be able to participate in games created by youths, like Disclose, a board game that helps spark meaningful convos between players.

Keep a lookout for IG-worthy photo spots scattered around the mall as well, as you dine at various F&B booths, and shop exclusive merch by artist Tobyato.

Of course, a party wouldn’t be complete without music. Tune into live music performances in the day, then gather your pals to bust your best dance moves late into the night at SG’s largest sober party, Afterhours by Beans & Beats.

For those who haven’t heard, Beans & Beats is one of Singapore’s most popular event organisers for alcohol-free gatherings, where party-goers swap booze for a cuppa coffee instead.
Their upcoming event at For Real Fest is their largest one to date, featuring 3 DJ stages at different venues within Funan – Big Appetite, GYG, and Pas Normal Studios. Each venue will play a different genre of music, like R&B, hip hop, and world music; by a line-up of DJs from around the world.
If you’re looking for an outlet to meet new pals in a wholesome and fun way, check out For Real Fest this coming weekend. What’s more, it’s located right in the heart of Bugis, so you’ll easily be able to swing by the SG Night Fest installations in the area too.
