When There’s Hunger For A Challenge

Source

So you like to eat. Your stomach is a chamber of steel in tip top condition, working 24/7, with the sole purpose of putting your ingested food through the biological process of digestion. But everyone has their limits, and when does too much food really mean too much? That’s when the idea of challenging your appetite and the ability to consume intense flavors comes into play. We’re talking mega, insane food challenges.

So for all you bottomless pits and those brave-hearted souls, we’ve put together a list of gastronomical challenges for you to finally gauge the strength and power of your guts.

1. The Chilli Rush Challenge – Chilli Rush

Malaysians have a reputation for infusing anything edible with chilli. I personally know people who really push this chilli thing to its limits, pairing their already mouth-burning meals with – you guessed it – even more chilli. If you’re guilty of being a chilli-holic yourself, our first challenge is definitely for you.

10. The Knuckle Eating Challenge – Black Forest Restaurant and Bar (non-halal)

Source

Finally, we have for you another meaty challenge from Black Forest. This time in the rink: man vs. pork knuckle. I didn’t even know pork knuckles existed in such large structures and mass! And by that, I mean 2.35kg of beastly meat.

If that didn’t put you in shock, know that not only will challengers be faced with the mention amount of knuckle, but also a side of salad, fries and a full litre of beer. Also, did we mention all the above consumables are required to be ingested within a 28 minute time frame?

Source

The struggle is real. Not to mention the loss of a good RM120 failure to complete this challenge. But as always, attractive prizes are up for grabs, on top of a story for your future kids about how you devoured a pork knuckle portion that could feed a family in less than half an hour. Don’t hesitate any longer, give this challenge a go!

It’s time you started training your GI tract for what’s to come, because we promise you none of these challenges will go easy on its contenders. Food feels no pain, but you will. So the next time your mother insists you finish up that that pot of her famous chicken curry, you had better say okay, and finish every morsel present in that dish after.
