If you’ve partied at one of the now-defunct clubs in Singapore back in the 1990s, you’d surely remember the iconic Fire Disco, widely considered one of the city’s most legendary nightspots. Known for its packed dance floors and house music, Fire Disco was the place to see and be seen.
Now, you can relive those fond memories by donning your Hunting World tee, MCM jeans, and Jean Paul Gaultier wallet at the upcoming Fire Disco tribute event organised by Club Vox, on 28th March 2026. This is not your ordinary party; it is a trip down memory lane, celebrating a definitive era of Singapore’s nightlife.

Founded by Deen Shahul, Fire Disco first opened in 1989 with a 3-story space at Orchard Plaza. For those who frequented the nightclub in its heyday, you might remember the resident live band, Energy, fronted by Douglas Olivero or the iconic DJ Ivan Rantung, of which the latter will be returning for the tribute.
Headliners include Kevin O’Hara, Warren Dragon, and Ivan Rantung, with supporting DJs The Iceman, DJ Chris L, and DJ Y (Dylan). Hearsay there are retired DJs who are not official on the lineup who will be attending the event, so you can truly soak up nostalgia with the club’s nods to Energy as well as the DJs who shaped Fire Disco.

Drinks will be available at the outdoor bar, with music and live visuals streamed outside as well so you won’t miss anything.
Although no cover charge is needed, you will have to RSVP as slots are limited. At the time of writing, all tables (indoor and outdoor) are now fully booked, but you can still opt to be placed on the waiting list, subject to availability.
