FairPrice is pretty much a household name in Singapore, but the supermarket giant isn’t afraid to switch things up with its outlets. From having a Daiso tucked inside its Kallang Bahru outlet to offering wine sampling at FairPrice Finest at Punggol Coast, there’s usually something different to discover.
Now, the latest addition is FairPrice at Elias Mall in Pasir Ris, giving residents in the area a new 24-hour supermarket to pick up fresh produce and affordable groceries. We dropped by to check it out, and here’s what you can expect.
Beyond your usual grocery run, there are a few other interesting features worth knowing about.
One of the first things you’ll notice here is FairPrice’s largest 24ft, 2-tier seafood ice bed, designed to recreate the experience of browsing a traditional wet market.
Fresh catches are laid out on open display for you to see what’s available and check out the seafood before making your pick. It gives you the familiarity of wet market shopping, but without having to navigate slippery floors.
There’s also a wide selection of seafood to browse through, including slipper lobster ($3.29/100g), fresh squid ($2.19/100g), Norway salmon ($2.69/100g), white snapper ($1.29/100g), farmer milkfish ($0.89/100g), and red grouper ($3.99/100g).
These are the usual prices, but we spotted discounts on some of the seafood until 9th September 2026, so it might be worth heading down soon to snag the deals.
BTW, feel free to get the staff to fillet, debone, or slice your seafood for free to skip the messy prep work at home.

The complimentary on-demand service helps to extend the shelf life of your seafood while keeping leaks and odours at bay, which is especially handy if you’re bringing your haul home on public transport. Just request it when you’re making your purchase, and the staff can pack it up for you.
Keep an eye out for the seafood specials of the day too. When we visited, we spotted a selection of seafood in containers towards the right of the ice bed, including seabass ($9.90 for 2), vannamei prawns ($1.29/100g), and flower crabs ($1.99/100g).
These special buys may change depending on the day, so when you first enter the supermarket, make a beeline for this section to see what deals you can grab.
The store also carries fresh Malaysian pork, with pigs imported live from Malaysia and butchered locally in Singapore, helping to retain their moisture and tenderness.
There’s a range of familiar cuts for everyday cooking, including pork belly ($2.39/100g) and twee bah ($1.93/100g), AKA thigh meat.
Pro tip: Speak to the in-store butcher to get recommendations based on what you’re cooking, and have your pork cut to your preferred portion, size, and thickness.
Right at the front of the supermarket entrance, you’ll find a rotating selection of frequently purchased fresh produce at lower prices. The featured items will change from time to time, so there’s always a chance to spot something different on each visit.
When we dropped by, we saw Shanghai green baby ($2.48 for 2 x 300g packs) as well as New Zealand large Envy apples ($6.50 for 5).
Make sure to swing by the sushi counter for freshly prepared rolls and nigiri, including some options you won’t find at your usual supermarket.
One of the highlights is the Fruit Series ($10.90), exclusively available at FairPrice Elias Mall. We saw sushi topped with kiwi and strawberries, adding a colourful twist.
Muslim shoppers can also shop a little more easily here, with halal items placed on shelves clearly marked with green labels throughout the store.
This makes it quicker to identify suitable products without having to inspect every item’s packaging, especially when you’re doing a quick grocery run.
It’s not just groceries you can pick up here. There’s also a Unity pharmacy within the supermarket, where you’ll get to browse a mix of Western health supplements and Eastern wellness products in one space.
There’s even a complimentary 3-minute body composition analysis using the Tanita Body Composition Analyser. Your results can then be used to generate AI-powered wellness recommendations before you speak to the pharmacist for more personalised advice.
Nobody likes standing in a long queue after a grocery run, so this FairPrice outlet has 13 self-checkout counters to speed things up. This means shorter queues and less waiting around, especially during peak hours.
And if you’re not exactly tech-savvy, don’t worry – staff are stationed around the self-checkout area to lend a hand if you get stuck.
Pro tip: Before you leave, head to the fridge near the self-checkout counters, which is stocked with free crushed ice that you can take to keep your groceries fresh on the journey home.
The new outlet is also rolling out a series of opening promotions and events, so here’s what to look out for.
With a minimum spend of $50, you can purchase a trolley and cooler bag set at just $10.
The trolley comes with a special wheel mechanism that allows it to go down stairs easily, great for elderly shoppers who don’t have lifts at every part of their journey. Honestly, it’s such a practical purchase that even we were tempted to get a set for ourselves.
For those who wish Singapore had something like Costco’s free samples, this is probably as close as it gets. FairPrice Elias Mall will host weekly brand showcases, where you’ll get to sample products.
When we visited, we got to try FairPrice’s Housebrand roasted chicken mid-wings and Frutrip Daily Wellness Shots.
The sampling sessions will take place on different dates throughout September and October, so check FairPrice’s website for the schedule before heading down.

Planning to check out FairPrice Elias Mall? The grand opening day event on 20th September 2026 will come with a bunch of activities for shoppers.
Visit from 10am to 2pm to enjoy popcorn and balloon sculpting, while a Lion Dance and God of Fortune appearance will take place at 11am.
There’s also a little game for those who fancy bringing home some free eggs. From 11.30am onwards, play a matching card game to win a tray of 10 eggs. This is available while stocks last, so you’ll want to head down early.
