We’re all excited for the long-awaited public holiday on 14 April after a whole month of work in March, and that means Easter is just round the corner. Take a break on Friday and get revved up for an Easter carnival at CHIJMES over the weekend from 15-16 April.
Let your kids unleash their inner Dora the Egg-splorer with CHIJMES’ Easter Egg-Splore, a gamified treasure hunt where kids earn eggs through completing tasks at game stations.
There’ll be 4 sessions per day, starting every hour from 2:30pm. Each session is 30 minutes long and tickets will be sold at $10 each with a free goodie bag for the kids. Register on the day itself (at least 30 minutes before the start of a session), and be early to avoid disappointment because it’s limited to 25 kids per session.
Besides the egg-hunt, there are plenty of other fringe activities to keep the little ones occupied for an entire afternoon. Here’s a run-down of the list.
Ninja Run (Giant Bouncy Castle): $8 for 15 minutes, $15 for unlimited time
Kids Craft Station: $5 each child, open from 3PM to 5PM
Face Painting: Free for kids
Look out for kids’ products and little trinkets at the mini lifestyle market open from 12PM to 10PM each day! Homemade ice cream parlour Tom’s Palette, Boyle’s Coffee, and the popular Harry’s Bar will be setting up booths to sell food and beverages as well.
Join in the fun and dress your kids up for Easter! If you get spotted by the emcee, you’ll win a $50 CHIJMES dining voucher – one winner is picked daily. And at $2 a try, you can also take a go at the Easter Plinko game to win cash dining vouchers as well.
Besides the Easter Carnival, CHIJMES has much to offer – it houses over 28 restaurants, cafes and bars where you can enjoy a filling meal after your outing. You can spread out the mats and enjoy a picnic on the lush lawn, too, by ordering a gourmet picnic basket.
There’s no need to hassle yourselves into making a memorable Easter day for your children when everything’s ready for you at CHIJMES. Let them mingle with other kids and run round the beautiful premises of this iconic historic building – bring your cameras out for some child model-worthy shots as well.
