Directions to Pulau Ubin

Getting to Pulau Ubin may not be the easiest so we made a video with directions to show people how to get to Pulau Ubin.

Step 1:
Take the MRT to Tanah Merah MRT Station, go out through exit B on the right to the bus stop. (Note that if you want to visit the NeWater Visitor Centre someday its through exit A)

Step 2:
Take Bus 2 to Changi Village which is the last stop, this will be 15 minutes ride. Alternatively you can also take Bus 28,59,109 here if you have a direct bus.

Step 3:
After alighting from the bus turn left and walk all the way down to Changi Jetty. If you want to eat the famous Mizzy’s Corner Nasi Lemak or stock up on supplies go to Changi Village Food Center and mini marts on the right.

Step 4:
After a 5 min walk Changi Jetty will come up on the right. Prepare exact change of $2.50 for the one way travel on the bumboat which takes about 15 minutes. You usually have to wait for a full boat before heading down.

In summary, be prepared to take at least 40 mins to get from Tanah Merah MRT to Pulau Ubin. It is not a short journey but it is well worth the experience!

Remember to read our Pulau Ubin Guide for essentials to bring and what to do on Pulau Ubin! (Coming Soon)
