The Defence Collective Festival (DCF) is back! This year’s edition marks the 2nd run of this annual event, with last year’s marking both SG60 and SAF60. If you missed it in 2025, or didn’t get enough of the festivities, it’s happening again this 14th to 15th November 2026, 10am to 6pm, at Singapore Discovery Centre, Singapore Navy Museum, and Singapore Air Force Museum.
It’s a new year, new wow, because this year’s edition is packed with loads of fun activities, which we got a taste of at Singapore Discovery Centre – each of the 3 museums has its own special line-up of activities, so you’ll have to visit them all to try everything. Here are some of the highlights that you can look forward to:
Before we get into the activities, you might ask – how much are the tickets? The good news is that admission to the Defence Collective Festival is free.
However, you have the option to purchase a Premium: Exclusive Passport ($10) to take part in any of the Premium activities. You can do this online at the Defence Collective Festival website, or on-site at any of the museums, on both days of the festival. Yes, the passport is valid at all 3 museums and covers the whole weekend.
Plus, Exclusive Passport holders get to take home a Defence Collective Festival tote bag.
We foresee that the Target Lane Shooting at Singapore Discovery Centre will be a super hot activity. You’ll be different types of gel blasters, loaded up with gel bullets, and tasked to shoot at targets. The targets are set at varying distances for shooters of all levels, so everyone can join in on the fun. Do note that younger participants will need to be accompanied by an adult.
The 2nd Premium activity at the Singapore Discovery Centre takes interactive mystery-solving to the next level. Enter their galleries, Through The Lens Of Time and Sandbox to take a walk through Singapore’s history, and solve the riddles in your passport.
P.S. Each museum has their own take on this activity, so try them all!
Once you’ve solved the riddles, look for the labelled cardboard boxes in the galleries, and seek out the secret password, which you’ll have to give to the characters there.
You’ll have to give the right password to the characters, including a Samsui woman and a Phua Chu Kang lookalike, to get a stamp in your passport.
There are 4 characters whom you’ll meet in the gallery, but don’t worry, you don’t need all 4 stamps to complete this activity. Just 2 will do.

At the Singapore Navy Museum, Reach & Rescue gives you the chance to operate a drone through a maritime course, collecting aid packages, dodging obstacles, and delivering supplies to the right rescue point before time runs out.

Meanwhile, at the Air Force Museum, there’s the Air Supply Mission, which turns you into a human claw machine, gathering supplies and delivering them to your intended destination.
If you’re not getting the passport, fret not, because there are free activities aplenty at all of the museums for participants of all ages.
For those of you who are holding the passport, follow the instructions in your passport on the Fringe Activities page to collect more stamps!
Think like a tactical ops engineer and beat the clock to build a bridge across the river – just like in the field. You’ll have to avoid the obstacles, and use only the tools that you’re provided.
Then, send a Morse message to your friend, using just a torchlight. Pay attention, because short and long flashes mean totally different things!
Put your best spy cap on too – there’s puzzle-solving to do, and no time to lose. You’ll have to crack the codes to put the clues together, and solve the puzzle before the clock runs out.

There is an entire force of first responders who are always on standby for any emergencies that may crop up in Singapore, and at SDCity, a Singapore Discovery Centre-exclusive activity, the little ones will get a chance to step into the shoes of these frontliners.
Don a firefighting suit, paramedic outfit, or policeman uniform, get in your vehicle, and go on duty around the miniature city to put out all the fires in town.
Little hands can make a difference too, and at Dream City Builder, they’re literally the architects of a tabletop city that they put together, brick by brick.
Head to the Community Wall in the Singapore Discovery Centre concourse, pick a numbered sticker square, and write down your pledge towards Singapore’s future. Paste the sticker on the corresponding numbered square on the community wall to complete the mural.
We’ve mentioned collecting stamps in your passport a fair bit, so here’s what you get after you get ‘em all – iron-on patches which you can use to decorate your DCF tote bag.
Pop over to the DIY Booth to redeem your museum-exclusive patches, and get them ironed on on the spot. All 3 museums will have different patches on each day of the festival.
Shuttle buses have been arranged specially for the weekend of the festival to bring you to the following museums:
Singapore Discovery Centre
Singapore Navy Museum
There are no shuttle buses to the Singapore Air Force Museum.
We’ve barely scratched the surface of all the activities on offer across the 3 museums. Think: bouncy castles, giant battleship challenges, uniform try-ons, and other handicraft workshops, alongside a bevy of food stalls on-site so you definitely won’t go hungry!
