Decathlon Has Free Yoga Sessions With An Orchestra So You Can Downward Dog To Live Strings

Decathlon’s Yoga Symphony

If your usual yoga routine involves fighting for a spot at your yoga studio and a lo-fi beats playlist, it’s time for an upgrade. Decathlon Singapore is teaming up with Footnotes Ensemble, Freedom Yoga, and JBL to bring you Yoga Symphony, Singapore’s first-ever free yoga series accompanied by a live orchestra.

Forget the generic studio vibes. We’re talking 60 minutes of yoga flow while a live string ensemble dictates the pace of your breath. It’s basically a cinematic soundtrack for your downward dog.

What is Yoga Symphony?

This isn’t just a stretch session; it’s a 60-minute Mobility Flow class. Unlike a standard Vinyasa, this focuses on functional movement patterns, active stretches, and stability work. The goal is to improve your range of motion and leave you feeling fluid rather than just flexible.

The real kicker? The music. Footnotes Ensemble will be performing live, with a repertoire specifically curated to match the intensity and flow of the movements. When the flow gets dynamic, the music picks up; when it’s time to sink into a pose, the strings mellow out.

How to join Yoga Symphony?

What do I need to bring for the session?

Don’t be the person who gets turned away at the door for not being prepared. Show up 15 minutes early for registration. Latecomers will not be allowed in… the orchestra waits for no one.

As for your attire, make sure to wear proper sports gear. If you show up in jeans, the instructors can and will bar you from the session. Bring your own water bottle and towel too. Yoga mats and blocks are optional but recommended if you prefer using your own equipment.

If you’re bringing the little ones, make sure they are geared up and ready to go before the session starts.

Is Yoga Symphony 2026 really free?

Yes. There are no hidden fees, but you must register an account on the Decathlon Activities platform to book your slot.

I’m a beginner; can I join?

Definitely. Mobility Flow is designed to support everyday athletic performance, making it accessible for both seasoned yogis and those who can barely touch their toes.

Will there be yoga mats provided?

Decathlon usually provides mats for their in-store sessions, but the listing suggests bringing your own is optional. If you’re picky about hygiene, bring your own mat or a mat towel.

Can I take photos during the session?

You can, but note that Decathlon will also be filming and taking photos for promotional use. By signing up, you’re consenting to feature in their promotional material.
