Plan your escapade to Hong Kong with 50% off flights on Cathay Pacific, capped at $200, when you make your booking on Wednesdays, with prices from $166.25 for a round-trip ticket after the discount. This is your chance to visit Hong Kong Disneyland and the world’s first Frozen-themed land, or go on one of the country’s many scenic hikes.

Alternatively, wait for Friday to roll by, and book yourself and a buddy on a trip to Taipei on STARLUX for tickets priced as low as $290 each – a great deal for an almost-5-hour flight on the full-service carrier that’s inclusive of checked baggage, meals, and in-flight entertainment.

If you’ve got other holiday destinations in mind, Monday’s your day. Jio your SO for the ride, because Trip.com has 50% off any pair of economy class tickets, capped at $200, when you pay with a DBS/POSB Card. You’ll have to get the code from the promo website and check out at 12pm sharp, so don’t miss it.

Before we get to the June hols, there’s hanami season, or beot-kkot if you’re going to Korea – happening right about now. If you haven’t already booked a trip, it’s not too late.

Pro tip: wait for Thursdays to book activities such as a full-day Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival tour on KKday, and get up to $50 off your booking. Alternatively, Saturdays are for booking on Klook, where you’ll also enjoy $50 off excursions like the Mount Fuji Hakone Kawaguchiko flower viewing tour from Tokyo. Do take note of promo terms and conditions on Klook and KKday before booking.

Sign up for a DBS/POSB Card to get $300 cashback

If you don’t already have a DBS/POSB Card, simply sign up for a DBS Live Fresh Card, DBS yuu Card, or POSB Everyday Card before 30th April 2025 with the promo code <CASH300>, spend $800 within 60 days of the Card Approval Date, and you’ll get $300 cashback credited to your account.

What’s more, use your DBS/POSB Cards when you’re travelling to enjoy even more rewards. For example, your DBS Live Fresh Card nets you up to 9.25% cashback on overseas expenses, while the POSB Everyday Card comes with 10% cashback on offline spending in Malaysian Ringgit. Meanwhile, the DBS Altitude Card earns you up to 2.2 miles per overseas dollar spend – P.S. your DBS points earned have no expiry date, so these points are valid for life.

Girl math is reminding yourself that saving more on flights, hotels, and experiences equals more budget for food and shopping when you’re on the holiday. We won’t argue with that logic – so it’s time to mark the days of the week when you can enjoy all these discounts with your DBS/POSB Cards.

Do note that there are limited redemptions of DBS half-priced holidays, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Otherwise, check out the Travel icon on the DBS PayLah! app for more holiday-centric deals too.
