The final months of the year are an exciting team, but it also means round after round of Christmas shopping. Those settling their shopping errands with kids in tow will be glad to know that City Square Mall offers the perfect distraction to keep the children entertained.
Fun for both kids and adults, City Square mall is introducing a Pokémon Wonderland this holiday season featuring a 6M tall Pikachu, and free tote bags and gift wrap to redeem. So, make a trip down from now till 29th December 2021 to complete your festive shopping and snag yourself some free goodies.
With a range of store options that are perfect for gift-hunting, from Typo to The Body Shop, City Square Mall can make a great one-stop destination for your stocking stuffers. No gift is complete without gift wrapping though, so the best way to wrap up your Christmas shopping errands would be to walk home with free Pokémon-themed wrappers.
Perfect for kids as well as Pokémon fans of all ages, these cute wrappers are adorned with fan favourites like Charmander and Pikachu. Available in blue and light-beige, these collectible gift wraps are redeemable with a minimum spend of $60.
Shoppers who rack up at least $150 within the mall are also able to redeem a free Pokémon-themed tote bag. It comes decorated with the adorable faces of Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Eevee plastered all over the canvas, allowing you to help save the earth by cutting down on plastic bag usage.
Pokémon merch aside, spending a minimum of $250 entitles you to an additional reward in the form of a $10 CDL Gift Voucher and Merchant Voucher Pack with savings for places like Concept Nailz Spa and AIRZONE. This can be redeemed during future City Square Mall visits, as well as at CDL malls such as Quayside Isle, Palais Renaissance and Republic Plaza.
Note: Min spend of $200 and $300 for the tote bag and CDL Gift Voucher respectively, if inclusive of NTUC FairPrice, Q&M and/or school receipts.
For the longest time, Pikachu has been a recognisable mascot of the hit game Pokémon, and the favourite species for diehard fans and casual players alike. This Christmas, you’ll be able to take a picture with one that stands 6M tall outside City Square Mall.
Fill up your gallery with snapshots of the adorable icon as you take a break from all your shopping, perfect for your holiday posts on the ‘Gram.
Other than the beloved lightning mouse, the Pokémon Wonderland exhibit will feature a plethora of Pokémon for plenty of Insta-worthy shots. Whether you’ve only played the various generations of video games or tuned into the cartoon series on TV, there’s sure to be plenty of fun and nostalgic photo ops for you.
These larger-than-life Pokemon can be found in the City Green Park region of the mall, and just a tip for those planning on heading down: the exhibit looks even better when lit up. We recommend heading over close to sundown so you can get shots in both daylight, and when the dazzling lights come to life.
Christmas time usually brings about the standard decor of Santa and his reindeer, but the Pokémon Wonderland exhibit at City Square Mall switches things up with a familiar childhood favourite.
The visually impressive and completely free-to-enter Pokémon Wonderland exhibit is sure to bring joy to both children and the young at heart. And with free wrapping paper, tote bags, and vouchers up for grabs, it makes sense to head down here for your festive shopping fix.
The mall is connected directly to Farrer Park MRT for maximum convenience, so you can scuttle home with your loot after shopping, eating and snapping up a storm.
