City Square Mall Is Having Massive Inflatables, Uncle Ringo Rides & A Summer Market For The Fam

Summer in Bloom at City Square Mall

Technically, summer doesn’t arrive till 20th June, but mentally, you’re probably already there. Beach vacays are booked, road trip routes sorted, and suitcases have been yanked out from the depth of your closet. And then you wait.

As your summer holiday inches closer, here’s something to tide you over. From now till 25th June 2023, hit up City Square Mall’s Summer in Bloom for a series of activities for the whole fam. There are Uncle Ringo rides, massive bouncy castles, a buzzing market, and a home balcony landscape display that await.

Uncle Ringo inflatables & carnival rides

City Square Mall ups the ante this time round with the fun and fantastical Uncle Ringo carnival rides and giant bouncy castles. Tickets start from $4 per person and grant you entry to a ride of your choice. This year’s event is all about gardens, so expect to see ‘Grammable floral photo ops everywhere you turn.

Make the trek to the mall to take a ride on the free-roaming rainbow train around City Green Park on level 1; spin around on a mini Ferris wheel; and fly high on 4 garden-themed inflatables filled with wriggly-worm and bee-shaped obstacle courses for the kids to burn all their energy off. Adults are welcome to join in on the fun, so feel free to hit all the rides you loved as kids.

Peppered around the mall, dozens of life-sized flower inflatables transform the space into a whimsical garden. Track them down, snap a selfie, and share your photo on City Square Mall Instagram to score 2 pairs of Golden Village movie tickets.

Summer market & DIY balcony designs showcase

Located at the Level 1 Atrium, the summer market features stalls selling everything from organic products and home bakes to household items and apparels. Beyond the standard market steals, you’ll also find eco-friendly workshops.

Between 16th and 25th June, 9 balcony designs done by students from tertiary institutions using plants and outdoor decor will be on displayed at Basement 1 Fountain Square. Come check them out and vote for your faves on City Square Mall Facebook starting 16th June

3 participants who receive the highest votes will each take home a $30 CDL gift voucher and a pair of Golden Village movie tickets. But hurry, voting ends on 20th June.

Beyond the inflatables and rides, other events on the lineup that’ll capture the heart of your child and inner child include a balloonist and mime. They’ll be wandering the grounds every Saturday and Sunday at 2pm and 7pm, now through 25th June.

It’s not everyday that you get to sit through a free silent comedy show while the kids drool over funky shaped balloons. So, don’t miss it. Carnival games and rides start from $4 per ride, which leaves plenty of room in the budget for the fam to grab lunch and go shopping at the mall after.

With a minimum spending of $200*, you’ll be entered into a round of spin & win to score yourself a $10 CDL gift voucher*. Plus, shave off up to 50% your total bill at places like Watami Japanese Dining and Dian Xiao Er, as well as Galaxy Gymnastics when you purchase deals on the Fave app.
