Those who truly know what love’s about would agree that every day is Valentine’s Day, whether it’s with your bae, your fam and friends, or even just by yourself. Well, lovebirds needn’t wait all the way till 2023 for an opportunity to profess the big L, ‘cause you can celebrate that with LOVE @ Chinatown Point from now till 26th June.
Not only does the mall have a colourful neon tunnel that’s impossible to miss at the entrance, but you’ll also be able to “lock” your love while contributing to a good cause. That, plus score mall freebies, happenings and discounts to add a little excitement to your day. Here’s what’s kickin’:
You cannot miss this bright neon tunnel located right in front of the mall.
The first thing we noticed about the giant Tunnel Of LOVE was the fact that passersby were automatically strolling through it to enter the mall. Coincidence? Perhaps they’re feeling the capital L-O-V-E, and for good reason too.
You’d be familiar with this if you’ve seen those iconic padlock-laden bridges around Europe and Namsan Tower in Korea.
Not only is the colourful sculpture a sight for sore eyes, but there are also Gates of LOVE structures at the side with padlocks attached to them. Well, now’s your time to jump on the bandwagon and get your love “locked”. Simply head over to the concierge counter at Level 2 to get your very own Love Lock for just $2 each.
Make your mark by popping your Love Lock onto the heart structures.
Your public declaration of love won’t just give you the butterflies, but it’ll also benefit the Ling Kwang Home for Senior Citizens and the Children’s Aid Society. That’s because Chinatown Point is making a dollar-to-dollar pledge to these organisations with every purchase of a Love Lock. Talk about spreading the love.

Head over to Chinatown Point this week and you’ll also notice the roving Bring LOVE Everywhere sculpture. You’ll want to snap a pic with it while it’s here, because it’ll be whisked off to its next destination after 20th May.
See if you can spot and capture as many AR love messages as possible.
Don’t head off just yet – whip out your phone, open your Instagram or Facebook app, and access your camera from there. You’ll be able to find “hidden” love notes in augmented reality (AR) all around the mall. Here’s a tip for you: look out for hearts floating across your screen to spot the hidden messages.
Date: Now till 20th May
Location: Indoor and Outdoor atrium, Level 1

If there’s a sure-fire way to make a declaration of love, it would be a colossal, colourful, and brightly-lit neon heart-shaped tunnel. And from now till 26th June, you can head down to Chinatown Point to snap that IG-worthy picture with this wholesome spectacle, “padlock” your love, and even cop mall freebies and discounts while you’re at it.
You’ll also want to keep your eyes peeled for a chance to score a 2D1N staycation at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore. Simply follow Chinatown Point on Instagram and Facebook and look out for updates on their upcoming social media contests.
Come 2nd June, there’ll also be a Secret Ingredients Travelling Exhibition at the indoor atrium. It’ll spill the tea on famous Singaporean dishes, and there’ll be interactive activities that’ll reward you with shopping vouchers. There’s plenty up for grabs, so make your way over, pronto!
