Changi Festive Village 2024 Has A Hello Kitty Theme, Sanrio Sculptures & Inflatable Water Park

Hello Kitty Festive Wonderland at Changi Airport

Our national obsession with Hello Kitty continues as Changi Airport brings back Changi Festive Village, this year themed after the beloved character. In celebration of her 50th anniversary, all 4 terminals have been transformed into a Hello Kitty Festive Wonderland, complete with photo-taking spots, carnival games, and giant Sanrio sculptures.

This festive pop-up will be sticking around from 2nd November 2024 until 16th February 2025, with meet-and-greet sessions, exclusive merch up for grabs, and even an indoor inflatable waterpark.

From 14th November onwards, you’ll find Hello Kitty and her Sanrio friends’ large-scale sculptures spread across 15 locations throughout the 4 terminals. These characters include Kuromi, My Melody, Cinamoroll, and Pompompurin, and they can be found in both public and transit areas.

The main attraction here would be the 8m tall Hello Kitty topiary, the tallest structure located at Terminal 3 Departure Hall, surrounded with smaller-scale Sanrio characters and Christmas boxes lying around.

Located right behind the Hello Kitty structure is a 7m-tall rainbow slide with 3 lanes, serving as a fun activity for kids and adults alike.

For a more close-up experience with your favourite Sanrio characters, there will be meet-and-greet sessions held during weekends, from 2nd November to 22nd December 2024.

2 mascots will be appearing during each snow show from Mondays to Thursdays, at 7.30pm and 8.30pm; and from Fridays to Sundays, at 7.30pm, 8.30pm, and 9.30pm. For more information on which characters will show up, check out their show schedule.
