Changi Airport & Jewel Have A Dino-Themed Carnival, Neon Indoor Go Karts & Snowfall This Xmas

Changi Festive Village 2021

POV: You hear Michael Bublé and Mariah Carey belting out festive tunes through the speakers and spot and garlands and fairy lights at every corner. There’s no mistaking it, Christmas is here, and this year’s festivities are surely greater than the last.

Changi Festive Village has kicked things off at Jewel Changi, Changi Airport Park Connector as well as Terminals 3 and 4 with more festive activities than you can finish in a day. From now till 3rd January 2022, there’s plenty of reasons to swing by the airport – even if you’re not planning a VTL trip.

Light show & magical “snowfall” at Jewel

There’s a lot more to explore on your next visit to Jewel. And by this, we mean that your dreams of a White Christmas still can come true thanks to some artificial snowfall at the Shiseido Forest Valley that happens twice every hour, from 6.15PM -10.35PM, daily.

Sit down on the cushions to activate some the “onsen steam” from the ground, or scan the QR code to snap a picture with AR snow monkeys.

After, take a “trip around the world” with interactive decor featuring a Japanese onsen, the Eiffel Tower, Great Wall of China and South African safari. Don’t leave before watching the Christmas-themed light shows projected on the iconic Rain Vortex every hour from 7.30PM – 10.30PM daily.

Location: Jewel Changi, Forest Valley
Price: Free, spend $25 on a single receipt to redeem one same-day entry

Festive indoor carnival with 20 games, a food market & go-karts

We’ve gone gaga over Prudential Marina Bay Carnival and the recent D’Ultimate XCape at Downtown East. This year-end, save a date in your calendar for Terminal 4’s Dino Carnival.Rain or shine, plans won’t be thwarted at this indoor carnival that stretches across the departure hall with 20 dinosaur-themed carnival games and a fairy light-illuminated street market.

Cool down with an Ice Blended Coconut drink (from $5)

Be sure to come hungry as there’s plenty of grub in store. The food court on level 2 has been transformed into a pop-up market overflowing with stores serving up all kinds of mouth-watering nosh. Dive into giant mentaiko and mala-flavoured hot dogs ($9.90) from Jumbadog and thick macaroons – or Fatcarons – from Sweedy Patisserie

$5/Fatcaron

Who would have guessed they could fit something like that inside the terminal?

You may be as surprised as us to find Singapore’s first air-conditioned go-kart attraction, Dino Kart right at the corner of the departure hall. Hop on board electric karts, floor the pedal, and race your friends at speeds of up to 24KM/H, across a 400M route with 10 bends. A mini kid-friendly route is also available for young ones!

Whimsical walking trail illuminated by 10,000 LED flowers

There’s no better time to hit that daily step count as the Changi Jurassic Mile and the rest of the Changi Airport Park Connector have been transformed into a breathtaking scene. Wander through 10,000 LED tulips, dandelions, sunflowers and Sakura trees, stretching across 3.5KM.

You’d be remiss if you don’t explore it from head to tail as there are four different themed displays – Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter – across the various sections of the route for plenty of photo ops. Come by during the evenings or after dark for the best experience – the route is open 24/7.
