You don’t have to be a Koreaboo to enjoy all things Korean – who can resist the temptation of K-BBQ, spicy instant noodles, and K-pop dances? While you might be pining away for a holiday in Korea, chances are you can’t just drop everything to take the first flight there.
But now, you can experience all things Korea in Singapore. In partnership with Mediacorp, Causeway Point is holding a full-blown Korean Festival from 2 to 5 August 2018, where you can buy Korean food, products, and also watch Korean showcases like traditional performances and K-pop dances. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Korea’s known for their tasty food, dramas, and of course, oppas. You might not find a suitably well-dressed, gentlemanly oppa here, but Causeway Point will have plenty of other Korean goodies.
Korean businesses like Shine Korea and Samjin Amook will be setting up stalls where you can find a variety of Korean snacks, like fishcakes.

When you’re done gathering your newfound Korean staples, head over to their workshops and activities. While us Singaporeans might be well-versed in the art of making traditional kopitiam desserts, Korean dishes like kimbap, bibimbab, and kimchi aren’t common sights in our kitchens. Learn how to make these classic Korean dishes at the following times:

Whether you’re a hardcore BLACKPINK fan or you only vaguely remember Psy’s Gangnam Style, these performances promise an entertaining weekend out with the entire fam.
