So you’re ready to bid those endless days of bus and MRT rides goodbye and commit to a car. Whether you’re in the market for your very first ride or a well-deserved upgrade from your current one, BMW World 2018 will give you a taste of luxury and help you along with your decision.
Here’s what’s coming your way:
The all-new BMW i8 Roadster comes to life

Happening this 25th and 26th of August 2018, BMW World 2018 will give you front row seats to the showcase of the all-new BMW 8 Series. It’ll also get you first dibs on the first-ever BMW i8 Roadster – a convertible plug-in hybrid that will take you from 0-100 real quick – and by that we mean 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds.

Even if you have genuine intentions to buy a car, waltzing into a Performance Motors showroom and requesting a test drive can be an overwhelming experience – especially for those of us who’ve never driven a luxury vehicle before.
Fortunately, BMW World 2018 will easily rid your inhibitions by encouraging you to take one of the luxurious cars in their fleet for a spin. And if you’re thinking a ride in the BMW 2 Series is as good as things get, you haven’t seen anything yet. Everything from the BMW 5 Series to the BMW 7 Series and the latest BMW X models will be ready for the taking.

You’ll even get a first look at the newly-released BMW Concept X7 iPerformance luxury segment. It comes complete with a generously-sized interior fitted with premium materials, a full seven-seater cabin, and a state-of-the-art infotainment system.

In contrast to their latest avant-garde models, the event will take you back in time with an exhibition of some of their heritage cars that have been around since the mid-1950s. These include the iconic BMW Isetta, the world’s best-selling microcar back in the day that consumed only 3L of petrol per 100km travelled.

And as a bonus, Mini Cooper’s one-of-a-kind Designer Mini by Paul Smith will also be on display. It made one heck of a dent in history as one of three of the Designer Minis presented by Rover in celebration of Mini’s 40th anniversary in 1998.

While their display of luxury cars might be the focal point, BMW World 2018 will also have VR simulations, death-defying stunts from pro-mountain biker Igor Obu, and a Kids Circuit with various activity zones and a stamp collection trail.
You don’t have to worry about riding solo if you’re the only car enthusiast in your posse, there’ll be more than enough excitement throughout to keep all ages engaged.

Here are all the best things to do this weekend in Singapore.
Just an hour away from KL!

No more stressing over what to get your loved ones for Christmas.
Gone are the days when family photoshoots used to be boring and extra formal.
Meet new-to-Singapore species as well.
