If you thought the Barbie era was over, this Indonesian club is here to prove you wrong. Our sunny island is home to a number of beach clubs but none of them feature bright pink sand. Yup, Blue Fire Beach Club in Batam has recreated their very own pink beach just 90 minutes from Singapore.
Yeah, that’s not Bali.

This slice of paradise is located just a short ferry ride away and makes for a perfect day trip or weekend getaway near Singapore. Think tropical vibes, poolside tipples, and gorgeous sunsets over the ocean. Blue Fire Beach Club offers all this and more at its sprawling seaside location.

It’s no surprise that most guests will be scrambling to get a spot at the “pink beach” where they’ve laid out deck chairs and comfy bean bag chairs. Apart from being the most Insta-worthy area of the club, it also has the best seats in the house to catch the sunset and views of the ocean.

There are also proper dining tables should you decide to have a full meal by the sea.

This is just one section of the beach club, though. You’ve got plenty of other options, including relaxing by the pool on the sunbeds or hiding under the shade in the cabanas.

Sun’s Out, Buns Out. Don your swimwear and dip into the huge pool that takes centre stage at this beach club. It even features a swim-up bar where you can order your cocktails and sip on them while enjoying the chill vibes.

As the sun sets, the pool lights turn on, bathing the club in vibrant colours and switching up the energy to party mode. Dance the evening away to the DJs tunes and occasional live performances. Apparently, it’s Manyao Night every Tuesday from 9pm onwards.
BTW, Blue Fire Beach Club is open for the party people till 3am every single day.
The beach club is an 18-minute drive from Batam Centre, so you’ll want to take the Batam Ferry that goes to this ferry terminal. There are 2 departure points in Singapore – Harbourfront or Tanah Merah and both have round-trip ferries that can get you to the island and back.
The ferry ride is about an hour, after which you can book a Grab to the beach. So, essentially, you can be lounging on the pink sand within 90 minutes of leaving Singapore.
