You Can Now Support Patients With Terminal Illnesses Just By Getting Snacks Or A Mani-Pedi

Assisi Hospice’s Assisi Fun Day 2020

It’s been a whirlwind of a year, but for local organisations, the show must go on. For Assisi Hospice, trying times amid a global pandemic meant that donations to support their patients have dropped this year. But it’s never too late to help, because they’re hosting their annual fundraising event, Assisi Fun Day 2020, online from 5th – 15th November 2020.

With a slew of e-stalls selling everything from decadent meals and snacks, to pamper sessions and hobby packages, you can shop and eat for a good cause. All proceeds will be funnelled towards caring for terminally-ill patients, so here’s the lowdown of the deals you can snag while helping others.

Note: Some of these deals are available from 5th – 15th November while others are in limited quantities under “Daily Specials”.

Cop a variety of food deals and vouchers up to 50% off

Every cent that you spend at the e-stalls will directly benefit the lives of the patients at Assisi Hospice, so you’re spending for a good cause. That’s all the more reason for you to browse through their plethora of food deals that range from hearty feasts to IG-worthy desserts.

Besides the deals and fun activities planned for Assisi Fun Day 2020, you can also directly make a donation to Assisi Hospice. You’ll be contributing to providing medical care and comfort to those who need it most, especially during difficult times the COVID-19 situation has brought about.

As you browse through the long catalogue of merchants, keep a lookout for Assisi Fun Day’s Shows For Good – a series of infotainment videos by Assisi Hospice’s staff and personalities like Singaporean competitive eater Zermatt Neo. Here, you can watch him take on the Otah Bun Challenge, or add Burmese cuisine to your repertoire via cooking demos by Assisi nurses.

Zermatt’s grandfather was cared for in a hospice for three months, so there’s personal sentiment behind him creating awareness for the cause.
