There are many things to do at Genting Highlands, such as enjoying a ride at Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park, dining at Burger & Lobster Genting, or visiting the scenic Chin Swee Caves Temple. But very soon, you’ll be able to add Antara Genting Highlands, a retail and resort complex, to the list.

It’s located between Peacehaven Campsite and Cradle Rock Genting Highlands, along Jalan Utama Genting Highlands – the only road that leads up to the peak of Genting Highlands. This makes it the perfect stop before heading to the overcrowded theme parks further up.
If you’re not planning to drive, hop on a direct bus to Genting Highlands from Singapore, which picks you up from different regions of Singapore. Currently, there are no buses that will drop you directly at Antara Genting Highlands – you will need to alight at SkyAvenue Station or Awana Bus Terminal. KKKL Travel & Tours, WTS Travel & Tours, and Transtar Travel buses will get you there.
After alighting, hop on a 1-way cable car (RM11, ~S$3.39/pax) ride to Chin Swee Station and walk through the link bridge to Antara Genting Highlands. More on that below.

Most travellers would book a room at Genting SkyWorlds Hotel, Resorts World Genting, or First World Hotel when visiting Genting Highlands, as they’re close to the theme parks and casinos.
But the AIR Resort Suites, located above the AK Antara Signature Mall, is a great alternative for visitors looking to enjoy the cooling weather and scenery in Genting Highlands instead of the noise and crowds. It features nature-inspired facilities, including multiple pools, a secret garden, and a 3-storey central water feature.

For more greenery, book a stay at AYU Resort Suites instead – it’s also located above the mall for convenient and easy access. The space features a large terrarium, a terraced flower valley, and multiple gardens. You’ll also get to let your hair down by dipping in the jacuzzi and heated swimming pools.

The best part of this retail and resort complex is the covered link bridge that connects you directly to Chin Swee Caves Temple and Resorts World Genting.
This link bridge will save you a lot of time compared to walking along the road, or booking a Grab and waiting for the car to arrive. It will take around 7 minutes to walk to Chin Swee Caves Temple, and 15 minutes to walk to Resorts World Genting.
While the mall and resort are not fully open yet, this new spot is something to look forward to the next time you’re travelling to Genting Highlands. Whether it’s for retail therapy, enjoying a meal, or staying the night away from the crowds, there’s something for everyone here.
