AirAsia’s New Service Lets You Skip Check-In Line Queues And Go-To-Gate Straight!

Go Straight To Your Gate!

Singaporeans are a hardworking bunch, working late, sometimes even on the weekends. But at the same time, we also value our weekends. So, whenever we get a chance to fly overseas for a short weekend getaway, we rarely think twice about it.

In our latest episode of Guide To Singapore, Christabel shows you the latest travel hack to come to Singapore. You can now save precious time when you fly with AirAsia, by using their newly-launched Go-To-Gate Service. It allows you to skip the check-in queues at the airport and head straight to the boarding gate. Wondering how this is even possible? Then just watch the video below!

If you’re looking to fly out of Singapore to one of AirAsia’s many destinations in the near future, it’s very easy to take advantage of this new service. All you need to do is follow these steps.

Step 1: Have no visa or check-in baggage.

Make sure you have no check-in baggage and no Visa requirements for your destination country.

Step 2: Check-in online.

Head to https://checkin.airasia.com to check-in online before heading to the airport

Step 3: Print out your Boarding Pass.

If you’re eligible for the Go-to-Gate service, it will also be clearly displayed on your printed boarding pass.

Step 4: Head to the airport to catch your flight!

Yes, it’s that easy!

The Future Of Air Travel!

With the Go-To-Gate Service, you are able to save a lot time because you don’t need to arrive at the airport 2 hours prior to your flight anymore. Just be at the Boarding Gate at least 20 minutes before your scheduled flight time and you’re good to go. No stress, no hassle – just more time for yourself before heading to the airport.

This Go-To-Gate Service is AirAsia’s first step towards full automation. To provide their passengers with even more convenience, they have future plans to allow passengers to attach their own baggage tags as well as to check-in their own baggage at designated baggage drop counters. This would help all AirAsia passengers save even more time and eradicate the need for check-in counters altogether.
