With Singapore’s 61st birthday around the corner, more National Day deals are popping up, and Shell Singapore has just joined the roster. This year, the brand is bringing along the adorable monkey mascot, Monchhichi, for a series of festivities. From free ice cream to a meet-and-greet, here’s all you need to know about Shell’s NDP celebrations happening across Singapore.


Get free ice cream across 2 weekends

Fill up your tank with Shell V-Power at a Shell station, and you’ll get to enjoy free ice cream from Shell’s rewards cart! The freebies will be given out across 2 weekends at selected Shell stations, with up to 20 flavours to choose from.

Meet Monchhichi on selected dates

Other than cooling desserts to beat SG’s heat, Shell Singapore is also bringing Monchhichi to their stations for a meet-and-greet. Unlike the free ice cream, you won’t have to top up petrol in order to meet the adorable monkeys. Each meet-and-greet session will only be held for 30 minutes, so you’ll want to head down on time to make sure that you’ll be able to snap a photo with Monchhichi.

The sweet treats and photo-op aren’t the only things to look forward to at Shell. The petrol station is also releasing Singapore-exclusive merchandise such as the Kopi Uncle and Kopi Auntie series, which features Monchhichi surrounded by familiar local icons.

To purchase the merchandise at a discounted price, simply spend a minimum of $15 at the Shell Select store or Shell Recharge, or purchase $80 worth of Shell Fuels. Do note that you’ll also have to present your Shell GO+ membership, which is free to join.
