There are many free playgrounds in Singapore, but calling Play@Heights Park just a “playground” is seriously selling it short. From Singapore’s first rolling bridge playground to a waterpark for kids – plus wheelchair-friendly fitness corners for the elderly – this spot in Toa Payoh is the perfect place for a family-friendly day out.

Play@Heights Park is located at Block 144 Toa Payoh Lorong 2, within Toa Payoh Heights Park and right next to Toa Payoh West Community Club.
What can you do at Play@Heights Park?
Rolling bridge playground

The playground at Play@Heights Park features the first rolling bridge playground in Singapore. It’s designed for 6 to 12-year-olds, but of course, parents can join their kids to snap memories at this Instagrammable playground.
Despite its name, it doesn’t actually roll – instead, it has wavy slopes and steps that lead to slides at both ends of the bridge. This play structure even goes above a walkway in the middle of the park, allowing little ones to see the park from a different angle.
Waterpark

You don’t need to live in a condo and have direct access to a swimming pool to beat the Singapore heat. This nautical-themed waterpark has water spraying from every corner, from jets shooting up from the ground to water falling from tall structures. There are even water guns that kids can use. One side of the waterpark also features a small longkang that zigzags, where kids can soak their feet and play with toy boats.
Flying fox & swings

Kids looking for an adrenaline rush can head to the sand pit and hop on the flying fox, which sends them gliding over the sand pit. While your child waits for their turn on 1 of the 4 swings, they can also choose to play in the sand and build sandcastles or dig holes.
Fitness corners

There are also inclusive fitness corners with wheelchair accessible equipment scattered around Play@Heights Park, so even seniors in wheelchairs can benefit.
While the kids are busy tearing it up at the playground, consider squeezing in some light exercise instead of sitting on the benches.

Play@Heights Park is a short 8-minute walk from Toa Payoh MRT Station via Exit D. Those taking the bus can take services 59, 141, and 231 to Block 139A along Lorong 1 Toa Payoh or bus services 129, 230, and 232 to Block 138B along Lorong 2 Toa Payoh. It’s around a 5-minute walk from both bus stops to Play@Heights Park.
